How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Grant Road Animal Clinic

Preventive care

Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

A friend recommended Grant Road Animal Clinic to us and I am so grateful to have gone! They are always willing to take our phone calls and help squeeze in emergency appointments when needed. I’ve been taking my fur babies to them for several years for routine check ups and emergency calls, and have always had a wonderful experience. Thank you, Grant Road Animal Clinic!!

The service at Grant Road Animal Clinic was excellent. Dr. Sara Ameringer was kind and understanding with my dog, and she thoroughly explained everything to help find a solution. The technician, Roselyn, was also very kind to my dog, and they both did a fantastic job taking care of her. I highly recommend this clinic to anyone in the area.

Called in with an emergency for a cat I am caring for. They got me in right away, were incredibly kind and loving with her, and gave me all kinds of information to help me assist her. This was a first time visit for them and I will definitely be bringing my own animals here from now on! Thank you ladies!

We have been going to this vet for a while, but we are done now. They consistently overcharge after failing to adequately explain expenses and obtain approval for treatment. We recently had one of our dogs spade here, and it cost $700, which after doing some research I discovered is a ridiculous amount for that particular procedure. The service has always been simply adequate and the staff is okay, but they will certainly gouge you given the opportunity. I'd suggest finding a different vet if you are thinking about using this one.
