How to Save Money at Eden's Holistic Veterinary Team
Schedule Regular Vet Visits
One of the best ways to save on vet bills is to prevent expensive health issues before they develop. By scheduling regular wellness checkups, your vet can detect health issues early, helping you to avoid costly treatments and surgeries down the road.
Price Shop for Pet Prescriptions
Oftentimes our fur babies are prescribed human drugs off-label. Your vet is apt to charge more for these medications than you would pay at your local pharmacy. In fact, big-box or chain pharmacies can offer steep discounts. So it’s best to price shop.
Pet Insurance
Most pet insurance providers will pay between 80% and 90% of the vet bill. You can even get coverage for routine care and things like vaccinations and dental cleanings. If you do the math, you’ll most likely find that pet insurance makes financial sense in the long run as well as gives you peace of mind.
How Do You Choose the Right Pet Insurance Provider?
Pet Insurance Review makes it incredibly easy for pet parents to select an insurance provider they feel good about. You can use our handy comparison tool to get the gist of what a company offers. Get Quotes & CompareGetting to Know Your New Vet: Essential Questions to Ask
Choosing a new veterinarian is an important decision for any pet owner. You want to find someone who is competent, compassionate, and a good fit for you and your fur baby. To help you get the most out of your first appointment, here's a list of essential questions to ask your new vet:
Tell me about your experience with [pet type].
Different vets have different areas of specialization. Some are experts with cats, some dogs, some pocket pets, and some horses. Knowing that your vet has vast experience treating your specific type of pet can bring you peace of mind.
How do you handle emergencies?
You must know what to do in case of a pet medical emergency. Inquire what after-hours policy the clinic has, whether they have on-site emergency care available, and if they have a relationship with any nearby emergency animal hospitals.
How do you communicate with pet owners?
Good communication is key to building a trusting relationship with your vet. Ask how they prefer to communicate (phone calls, emails, online portal) and how often you can expect to hear from them.
Are there any breed-specific health concerns I should be aware of?
Some breeds are predisposed to certain health conditions. Knowing what to watch out for can help you catch problems early and get your pet the treatment they need.
Do you have any questions for me about my pet?
This is a great question to ask because the answer will show that the vet is interested in getting to know your pet as an individual and is willing to listen to your concerns.
Bonus question: Can I take a tour of your facility?
Getting a feel for the clinic's environment can help you and your pet feel more comfortable during your visits. Remember, you’re not just looking for a veterinarian, you’re looking for a partnership. Do not be afraid to ask these questions and any others you can think of. Any vet worth their salt will be happy to answer them. Because the more informed you are, the better equipped you'll be to make decisions about your pet's care! And that should be every vet’s top priority.
Reviews from Google
I would give zero stars if I could. They may even be out of business. Made an appointment and came to the office. No one answering their phones and no one in their office. Office is in a really beaten up building that is mostly abandoned or uninhabited. I would skip this place - we tried to give it a shot, but seems like a scam of services. So sorry I had to make the long drive and stress out my animal for nothing.

Since switching from mainstream vet med to Eden's, the wellness of our dogs has improved tremendously. After doing everything every mainstream vet recommended and spending thousands and thousands of dollars, we ended up with chronically ill or dead dogs, most not even seeing age 10. Judy and Lori have been a wealth of information and have empowered us to be able to take even better care of our pack, and our two oldest have not only made it past the 10 year old mark, but actually act like young adult dogs. Gone are the days when we're at the vet at least once a week with someone! Eden's is passionate about helping pets and their people! Thank you ladies!!

We met Eden's team (Lori and Judy) at the beginning of 2021. Gracie is almost 13 years old, and Ghost is almost 9 years old. They're both so much healthier now than they were before we started using Eden's Holistic Veterinary Team's services! They helped us do rabies titer testing on both dogs so they wouldn't get any unnecessary rabies shots. They tell you up front that they use Young Living products. We had dabbled in Young Living oils before, but decided to take a deep dive into them, and Eden's was instrumental in educating us about Young Living oils. Those oils have made all of our lives better, not just Gracie and Ghost! Lori and Judy are straight shooters who don't mince words, which we really appreciate!

Update & Response: Food sensitivity results were sent to me on 3/5/25. Vague instructions for YL products were sent via text same day & this is the same way the initial appointment was scheduled. The fact they state anyone talked to me & explained their protocol is untrue & solidifies my caution to dealing with this group. We never talked prior to meeting them in person. Their unprofessional response exposing personal information proves they cannot be trusted. I’ll add, they texted me telling me to take my review down, that’s weird too, yet no returned call from Lori “the vet” during our appointment. I’m happy to provide proof for all the above! BEWARE, these people are scammers. We took our dog in for swollen lymph nodes and to discuss a more holistic approach to animal care. Our appointment was at 5 pm with Judy & Lori. During our almost 4 hours at the office the only thing that was done was the Zyto scan that revealed she was severely damaged on an emotional level (she was a rescue that had been mistreated for a long time), parasites, gut issues, as well as other issues that could be rectified through purchasing Living Young oils and other products like cleaning supplies, etc. It was a great visit and felt like we were on a good path to getting our dog to a healthy state. I asked about a food sensitivity test they offered and we did collect samples to send off. We asked them to send the protocol and suggested regime to us since it was so late and they agreed even though they wanted us to stay so they could write it up....I should have stayed. After two days of calling and emailing to get the information they sent me an email stating they would only send information once I placed a Living Young order, they refuse to return my calls and after spending $400 for a Zyto report that does absolutely nothing for me, I am back to square one. This group seems to be a bunch of equine vets that created this company to promote their MLM business. If they cared about animals, they would provide me with the information I paid for. I do not recommend this company at all. Terrible experience.

I began working with Judy six years ago after spending years and countless dollars trying to help my cat, Ra, who suffers from a neurological disorder. Ra had a difficult past—he was abused before I adopted him from a shelter. While many might say that I rescued him, the truth is quite the opposite—he has rescued me in more ways than I can count. Sometimes his seizures are worse than others. They began to get very bad and everything that western medicine provided did not work. I was losing my mind looking for all ways to help him. I met a pet psychic that introduced to me Judy. Judy came to my house as an outcall in Memorial. She performed a neuricular massage technique with Young Living essential oils. The very first session gave Ra immense relief. After only the second session, Ra was running. He had not ran in years. We actually only did one or two more sessions- all within 6 years. His seizures have significantly decreased. I've been a young living member off and on my entire life. I know all the benefits of these amazing products. But sometimes convenience outweighs my want/ need for profound health and help. Seeing the effects these oils and Judy's skills had on Ra made me look at my own health and making the needed changes in my lifestyle. I have now made it a priority to get my own neuricular weekly massages with Judy. The results have been amazing. Thank you so much for all your help, countless & tireless hours of work and continuing holistic education. The kitties & I are forever thankful
