How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Bethany Pet Hospital

Preventive care

Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

We moved to Allen almost a year ago and among the first thing I looked for was a reputable vet in the area close to our residence. We had plenty of choices but we decided to go with Bethany Pet Hospital and our decision paid off. We have three canines, two European Dobermans and one Frenchie, all have been treated and seen by Bethany Pet Hospital. Our female Dobie had a spade procedure done by Dr. Vance late 2023 and with no complications. The staff at the hospital always give us a follow-up call a day after any pet visit, whether surgical or for annual vaccination. They call to check and make sure that our doggos are not experiencing any discomfort, which is a nice touch of customer service that is increasingly disappearing in this day and age. You can tell that the staff genuinely love their job and love animals just by how they interact with your pets. I also like the fact that Bethany Pet Hospital also has a dedicated boarding service on site, which we've utilized in the past and will continue to do so in the future. The boarding rates are also very reasonable.

Very polite and friendly staff! They made our dog Honey feel very comfortable as they treated her with care and gave her multiple compliments! Nice place to take your pets for checkups and so forth.

Always my go-to for all four of my fur babies. I have three cats & one dog. What's amazing is the one room specifically for cats. This made a big difference for my anxious Bengal. They are always caring about any concerns I may have or weird inquiries.

Dr. Vance, Dr. Kitt, and Danny are the best! Love how much they care for our fur babies. Thank you for always taking great care of our boys.

I've been bringing my furbaby, Mercy, to Bethany Pet Hospital for a few months now. From the front desk, to technicians, to seeing Mercy's doctor, everyone genuinely cares. Thank you all. You are appreciated. Thank you Dr. Vance for getting down to Mercy's level when you're checking her. That says a lot to me as a "dog parent".
