How to Save Money at Roncy Village Veterinary Clinic
Schedule Regular Vet Visits
One of the best ways to save on vet bills is to prevent expensive health issues before they develop. By scheduling regular wellness checkups, your vet can detect health issues early, helping you to avoid costly treatments and surgeries down the road.
Price Shop for Pet Prescriptions
Oftentimes our fur babies are prescribed human drugs off-label. Your vet is apt to charge more for these medications than you would pay at your local pharmacy. In fact, big-box or chain pharmacies can offer steep discounts. So it’s best to price shop.
Pet Insurance
Most pet insurance providers will pay between 80% and 90% of the vet bill. You can even get coverage for routine care and things like vaccinations and dental cleanings. If you do the math, you’ll most likely find that pet insurance makes financial sense in the long run as well as gives you peace of mind.

Get Quotes & CompareGetting to Know Your New Vet: Essential Questions to Ask
Choosing a new veterinarian is an important decision for any pet owner. You want to find someone who is competent, compassionate, and a good fit for you and your fur baby. To help you get the most out of your first appointment, here's a list of essential questions to ask your new vet:
Tell me about your experience with [pet type].
Different vets have different areas of specialization. Some are experts with cats, some dogs, some pocket pets, and some horses. Knowing that your vet has vast experience treating your specific type of pet can bring you peace of mind.
How do you handle emergencies?
You must know what to do in case of a pet medical emergency. Inquire what after-hours policy the clinic has, whether they have on-site emergency care available, and if they have a relationship with any nearby emergency animal hospitals.
How do you communicate with pet owners?
Good communication is key to building a trusting relationship with your vet. Ask how they prefer to communicate (phone calls, emails, online portal) and how often you can expect to hear from them.
Are there any breed-specific health concerns I should be aware of?
Some breeds are predisposed to certain health conditions. Knowing what to watch out for can help you catch problems early and get your pet the treatment they need.
Do you have any questions for me about my pet?
This is a great question to ask because the answer will show that the vet is interested in getting to know your pet as an individual and is willing to listen to your concerns.
Bonus question: Can I take a tour of your facility?
Getting a feel for the clinic's environment can help you and your pet feel more comfortable during your visits. Remember, you’re not just looking for a veterinarian, you’re looking for a partnership. Do not be afraid to ask these questions and any others you can think of. Any vet worth their salt will be happy to answer them. Because the more informed you are, the better equipped you'll be to make decisions about your pet's care! And that should be every vet’s top priority.
Reviews from Google
On Tuesday I had to find a vet quickly and after 2 unsuccessfull attempts at other clinics I got an appointment here. This is one of the very best experiences I've had with a clinic. Everyone, from the front desk to the vet assistant and the vet himself were wonderful. Friendly, caring and helpful. I left feeling that Roxi had been in the best of care. They got back to me with test results the next day and then I got another follow-up the day after that from Ena the vet assistant. I am so very happy that I was able to meet them and feel well looked after. Wonderful Clinic in all aspects. Roxanne and I Thank them all very much.

This is my cat's vet clinic. The staff are always so friendly and take the time to educate and reassure nervous clients. They also offer free water. I have brought my cat here to get her nails trimmed by the vet techs and they go above and beyond. #ContestEntry

Do not hesitate to take your pet to this clinic. They are the best clinic I have ever been to. I have had dogs my entire life and I have finally found “ the one”. The treatment of my 14 year old Yorkie’s dental problems was second to none. This is a professional, well managed office with the nicest, caring staff.

My cat was diagnosed by my local vet with baldder stones but my local vet doesn't do any laparoscopic urethral or bladder stones removal or surgery. I looked around and I called this clinic 2 months ago ,I was told that they do this type of intervention and I booked an appointment. When it was the time to drive the cat to the appontment, I receiced a phone call that the doctor has reviewed my cat's reported problems and actually the clinic doesn't do the specific surgery laparoscopically. They do it regularly and she quote 5200 $ ,my own vet quoted 2200 $.I was suggested to drop off the appointment ,and I did ,they made me lose time as I stop searching and getting other vet clinics opinion. I called them again few days ago as I seen they have a vet who speaks my language and I really wanted to check again with him what exactely they do laparoscopically as I was puzzeled by conflicted informations. After I calld few times, left message and sent an email (I did not get a response to either voice message or email) I called 15 min before the closing hour and a very rude person responded. She said I cannot speak with the doctor in my own language for 2 minutes , butto book with him an appointment for a second opinion,I have to go through her,to book an appointment with him ,weeks down the road. She rudely implied I want to get a vet advise for free and when I stated that I am not trying to get a vet advise for free but to understand what surgeries are they offering ,she asked me to lower my voice. I am sure I did not raised my voice! My own vet always talks to us on the phone if we need clarifications and email to us the results or her advise after we seen her but it seems the Roncy Village is not a customer friendly clinic. I felt very upset after interacting twice with these people ,I received wrong informations, the receptionist don't know what procedures are done by whom, they have no patience and the last one was rude.In what way would I prejudice the clinic if I would have spoken in my own language with the doctor to clarify once and for all what procedure they do and and would my cat benefit? I would book an appointment with him in confidence and might do the surgery with him or a colleague he trusts and recommends.I am very dissapointed and never again will contact this people.
