Preventive care

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

We have a new addition to our family. Late in the evening about a month ago we found a stray cat crying and we took him in. The vet and the technicians were extremely helpful to us in giving him his vaccinations and any medications that he may need. We did not know what to call him until we got to the vets. His name is Bandit and he is extremely friendly.

We are infinitely grateful for Dr Raza and his team. Our senior dog developed a large lump on her throat and within three days, it had grown across her throat impeding breathing. Dr Raza quickly and compassionately diagnosed her with lymphoma, and we had to put our dog to sleep. In the worst moment of our lives, Dr Raza showed kindness and love that we’ll never forget. Thank you for helping us through - we miss her terribly.

We have been with Grand Ave Vet for a few years now after switching from another local vet we had issues with. We have had a great experience with them for all of our dogs and no problems. They are friendly, knowledgeable and caring. I would recommend them to all pet owners.

Took our kitten Nora in to be spayed. They did a wonderful job. She had no bleeding whatsoever and the incision was small and I believe they used surgical glue. Much better for healing. We had another kitten spayed at a different vet in st thomas and our other kitten bled and stitches were sloppy. This vet is very familiar with spaying and neutering. They had about 8 kittens or so ready to be fixed. The staff is great , they followed up afterwards to see how she was doing. They made sure she had proper pain medicine. I would definitely come back here. It's also nice to see that they have a clinic cat.
