How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Yates Veterinary Hospital

Preventive care

Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

No matter which vet is on duty, they are always very helpful and understanding and sympathetic. And one of the nicer things is that they don't try to upsell you to unnecessary and expensive procedures, like some others I have experienced. Whether you go to their Woodstock clinic or the Ingersoll Clinic, you will always be treated with respect and kindness as of course, will your pet.

Usually I attend Woodstock’s location, however this location is closer now that we’ve moved. We used to have to wait about 30-40 minutes until we got to see the vet, but at this location the longest we have ever waited was 10 minutes - it’s amazing and their hours fit our work schedules perfectly. Thank-you Yates!

I have been taking my dog there for 3 years. Their prices are cheaper than in London but most importantly, you can feel the love the vets have for animals. I will not go anywhere else with my dog.

Awesome vets. They don't push for surgery or expensive medicine. Quick diagnosis and treatment if necessary. Highly recommend for none emergency management of your fur babies.
