How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Talbot Road Veterinary Services
Preventive care
Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.
Compare prescription pricing
Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.
Consider pet insurance
Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

I cannot say enough good things about talbot vet. I am so so thankful I have my dogs there for all their needs. Dr. Emily was so wonderful and compassionate when we made the heartbreaking decision to put our sweet Molly down. She talked us through it and was just so gracious to Molly as well. Dr. Carleigh is amazing with our dogs also I love how she handles them and is so sweet with them and she is extremely caring and thorough. The receptionist as well is very nice and easy to talk to. It's definitely a family friendly atmosphere where you feel absolute no pressure in any decision to make and you can tell they all truly love what they do. Thank you again 💓

If you are looking for a place that cares about your pet, please contact Talbot Rd. Veterinary Services. We recently had to say goodbye to our very loved dog after 15.5 years. We were not patients of Talbot Rd. Veterinary but reached out with our concerns and inquired about the at-home euthanasia they offer. They promptly responded with great compassion and were able to provide us these services in the comfort of our own home. Thank you Hannah (RVT) for your prompt responses via email and your compassion and care with our little guy. Dr. Courtney was also very professional and caring, they both treated our little guy so well. Thank you for helping us through this difficult time.

Unless you’re extremely wealthy you’d give this place a 3+. If your a middle class person forget it they will make you bring your pet in for flee and tick treatments and then charge you ANOTHER exam fee when the animal has just been in for an exam within 6 months, they knew very well the weight of my dog. But they see dollar signs. They basically reflect in their eyes. . We aren’t all making money like these ‘doctors’ are. And the lady at the front with the vocal fry sounds like she’s straight out of mean girls and she treats you like that too. So unless your filthy rich don’t go here —— they care about dollars not animal health. It should be called Talbot Road Vet for the Wealthy. And this day and age it’s not easy to buy groceries and pay hundreds of dollars every time you need a little treatment for a dog. They wouldn’t understand. They seem like they all grew up well to do as they have no compassion. I have since found a wonderful vet who is willing to work With me professionally and ethically and without discrimination that I’m. Im not rich and im struggling financially at times due to family issues with my children but I still try to take care of my dogs and they appreciate my situation. I’m so grateful. It’s Edward’s V et in Tillsonburg they care not just about your pet but about your situation. As for this Talbot place …. Take head my friends, take head.

After a bad night with my senior dog she needed to be put down. We called everywhere no one would take her including her regular vet here in town. Some vets were going to charge us $1000+ but couldn't do it until next week. Talbot rd vet got us in within a few hours and they were amazing. I believe it was Emily who helped us and she was lovely and compassionate. I will be reccomending them to everyone

I had to put my husky down today. They were amazing. I just recently this week became a client of theirs and they treated me like I have been there for years. They were amazing to Zeus. They treated him like one of their very own animals. Their prices are great. They have a real heart foe people and pets.
