How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Wilson's Animal Hospital
Preventive care
Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.
Compare prescription pricing
Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.
Consider pet insurance
Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

I've been bring my babies to Wilson's since I had my first dog over 20 years ago. My family has been going even longer. They have always been honest, compassionate and affordable. I moved and tried other vets. No one compares. I'm grateful for the care they show my animals!

Always a pleasure dealing with Wilsons Animal Hospital. They take care of all five of our dogs as well as any puppies that we have. They always accommodate us and are very friendly to us and the animals.

They are always welcoming, friendly and happy to see our loving pets and us. They explain the procedures and what they will be looking for, and why. Very professional, and they know how important our girls are to us, and what is best for their health. We would definitely recommend Wilson's Animal Hospt. to anyone who is in need of Excellent Veterinaries' and Technicians.

We had our first visit today with our new puppy and we absolutely loved our experience! The friendly and lovely front desk staff made us feel so welcome, and the Veterinarian took the time to listen and chat with us about our new puppy. We walked away feeling so happy to have chosen Wilson’s Animal Hospital for our new family member 🐶

The staff here are so kind, friendly, empathetic, and knowledgeable. Everyone I’ve encountered that works at Wilson’s has been nothing short of excellent. I have an elderly cat who is usually very spicy during vet visits. They were amazing with him. His temperament was so good during the visit. Dr. Emily and the vet tech were so good with him. My first vet visit here was the best my kitty has ever behaved. Dr. Emily even got down on the ground to Jovi’s level to let him get comfortable with her. I’ve never had a vet do that before. Their prices are also reasonable. I would high recommend this office for anyone looking for a vet in the Niagara region. Thank you!
