Dr. Nick is a definite keeper as our vet for our beloved animals. I love that he is always clearly thrilled to see our dog and calls himself his uncle ❤️. The depth of his knowledge in his field of expertise and attention to everything we are concerned about makes us feel very comfortable with him caring and treating our dog. He is always respectful about our wishes with regards to our choices for the health and well being of our dog and always makes us feel like we are doing a great job as pet owners. The fact that our dog is relaxed with him tells us everything! 👍 We are never left wondering about anything we came in for once we see Dr. Nick and always leave satisfied. The rest of the staff at this clinic are also awesome.

Thank you to ALL the staff at Dog and Cat Clinic of Niagara for the great service you provide and getting my dog in on such short notice when he wasn't feeling well, he was showing signs of pale pink gums and acting extremely depressed, not interested in food that day and I didn't feel comfortable waiting it out over the weekend. You were able to give me same day results and were so caring and prompt for his care. An extra special thank you to Dr Haidy, Ashlen, Kim, Corey and Mayze for the love and support you provided Tyson and I the day we came in.

Prices are outrageous. Was quoted almost 1900 taxes in to spay, etc. For my new kitten. Another vet quoted almost $600 taxes in. They are extremely busy, always putting their clients on hold, and never had the same doctor caring for my cat. I also feel she received unnecessary vaccines being only an indoor cat. All she needed was her mandatory rabies vaccine, but this place pushed for additional vaccines. She was being treated for pancreatitis, but in the end was told it was likely cancer having to put her down at not even 4 years old on August 26, 2024. I ordered a necklace from them for almost $500. Was told it would be my cat Louise paw print with her name on the back. When I received it her paw print was not on the necklace, and missing the chain. Staff informed me they will have to get in touch with gateway to see if they can send the chain. It was a lot of money considering I didn't receive what was promised. Edit: The staff member connie worked tremendously hard to get what was promised, and showed me all the fine print which was not noted the first time around ,and I appreciate her willingness to help. Thank you. Finally got what was promised at no extra cost! A chain with my forever baby, little Louise.❤️ If you have a lot of money to spend go to dog and cat clinic. And, make sure your pet gets a proper diagnosis the first time around. :)

I wanna start the review by saying I had a 10 out of 10 for experience with my bostons soft pallet and stonatic nares surgery. My Boston terrier is 4 years old and has struggled her whole life with breathing and regurgitation. I asked the first vet I took her to and since they couldn’t do the surgery there and did not bring it to my attention despite seeing she had an elongated soft pallet (there is no way they didn’t see this when they put the tube down her throat when she was spayed), they tried to advise me I needed to do x-rays and explore for if she had an esophagus issue. Needless to say I transferred to a different vet. My new vet also did not do the surgery at their location but they noted her small nostrils and asked questions about her breathing. Because of them affirming that I was on the right path I began my search for the perfect vet to take care of my precious baby girl. I called multiple places and found there were not many options out there and the ones there were, were very expensive and spoke to me like a number not a person. I eventually found Dog and Cat Clinic of Niagara. During my call with them they were supportive, they addressed all my questions and to my surprise they were significantly cheaper for the surgery she required (soft pallet and stonatic nares). Since it was a total of three hours driving for me they recommended doing the consult and surgery the same day, which I appreciated as it meant less time off work as well as the gas expense. While there, they were just as supportive and I can honestly say that Dr. Karim Aziz did everything to make me feel safe. He even took pictures to show me the before and after. I would say the most surprising thing is he also discussed her medication with me (that had nothing to do with the surgery) and ensured I knew that there was a better option that could give her a better quality of life (which I did not know about). He suggested that I talk to my home vet and look into it further. After the surgery Lizzy began the healing process, which was quite lengthy as no matter what you do you can’t put anything on them to stop them from licking their nose. But now that she is healed it’s like a new world has opened up to her. I refer to it as the YouTube video where you put glasses on kids for the first time and it’s like a whole new world. I never imagined that this surgery would give her a better smelling ability too. I knew it would help her get more oxygen and therefore have a better life being able to keep up with her friends but this is next level. I wish I would have done this way sooner, next time I get a Boston I’m doing it all with the spay and will be coming to Dr. Karim Aziz. Needless to say, when we play hide and seek now (either me hiding or me hiding treats) she is able to find me or it in record time. It honestly makes my heart so full seeing her now. I highly recommend Dr. Karim Aziz and his team to anyone. Thanks again ❤️

My dog Demi just had TPLO surgery performed by Dr. Aziz. This little girlie was a difficult case. Dr. Aziz during the whole process was realistic and very honest. He was very thorough in his care for Demi and always ensured her care was top notch. During the recovery process. His staff check on Demi weekly without fail. Due to Dr. Aziz and his wonderful staff at Dog & Cat Clinic, Demi is on the road to being her old spunky self! If ever I need surgery for one of my pets, Dr. Aziz is our guy! 🐾❤️
