How to Save on Veterinary Costs at VCA Canada Burlington Animal Hospital

Preventive care

Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

Sadly to get nails trimmed takes a booked appointment sometimes a week away. Found a receptionist to be very rude and very pompous Has A mature lady, I remember when service was given with a smile. Sadly, I don't get that. I just get someone telling me how she can't give me service even though I'm paying $75 a month for that service. Live veterinarians are very nice, however.

I've had 3 different vets over the years with my dogs and VCA is by far the best. Dr. Max and Dr. Marcus are amazing. They care so much for each patient. The care they provide is very detailed and comprehensive. 100% recommend anyone looking for a vet to go with VCA Burlington.

So I took my puppy Ada to this animal hospital and was very pleased with the service I received. In the beginning there was a little bit of miscommunication about the appointment being virtual/phone only and not an in person visit. However this was corrected greatly with amazing customer service from the vet technicians and the veterinarian. The veterinarian talked with me multiple times for hours answering all my questions and provided me with information in order to help my puppy get the best care possible. Would recommend!
