First time going to Bond Vet was such a great experience that I’ve ever had at a vet’s office. Everything was clean, well designed and modern. The staff was very friendly and the doctors were so informative and knowledgeable. My cat was throwing up and I no one would see her last minute. Appointments online were so easy to make! The cat waiting room had a feliway plug, and cat tower. They had complimentary catnip, and treats for dogs and tea for humans. The whole place smelled nice. Nice coffee table books. There was simply thought put into this franchise. A therapy spa element. So nice! My cat was so comfortable and so was I. I will be back again with my other cat for a wellness check up one day.

Staff was amazing, from the front desk to the nurse and Doctor. Doctor Natalie was very straight forward to point out what were the issues with my dog, i like that she was strict on what i have to do to prevent it. The nurse was also nice, (sorry did not get name), they take their time and are patient with your pet. I have been to the other location in Astoria,Queens. Also very nice. I would recommend Bond Vet to anyone.

Not thrilled about my experience today at all. The staff was scared to handle my cat and my cat actually hissed for the first time. He didn’t like the way he was being held with two hands around his neck…usually they grab the muscle in between the shoulders near the head where the cat becomes still. He’s never needed a towel wrapped around him to get a heartbeat or anything. Perhaps it was a bad day at the vet because the staff seemed nervous before they even opened the cage. They said he was too aggressive/overstimulated to get his nails clipped, but not aggressive/overstimulated enough to stop them from giving him two shots. I was advised to purchase some type of sedative and that I would need to administer it before his visits. This place seems to be money hungry. My cat always tries to run off the table, but he doesn’t bite or hiss. The energy was off. What really did it, is that my cat was neutered early September (2 months ago) and was required to do another exam ($90) today since he was getting a rabies shot —company policy. This was not disclosed while making the appointment over the phone. All in all, I was left with an uncomfortable feeling and will no longer be recommending this place.
