How to Save on Veterinary Costs at MetroWest Veterinary Clinic

Preventive care

Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

We're new to the area and had such a great experience with our last vet (in another state) that I was a little nervous about our dog's first appointment here. Thankfully I chose the right place! Everyone was friendly and helpful, and Dr. Callahan was lovely to talk to. It was clear that he genuinely enjoys what he does. He made sure I understood the particular issues that pets in Florida might have, compared to northern states, and he answered all of my questions. We were in and out in under an hour. The price was reasonable in my opinion. I'm looking forward to having them take care of our dog for many years :)

Dr. Tony has taken care of our pets for the last 2 years and has done an outstanding job. He is very thorough and addresses any concerns you may have. He saved my dog's life by diagnosing his Addison's disease before he went into crisis. All of the staff are professional and have a happy demeanor. We've recently moved out of the area but still drive the extra mile to ensure we are getting the care our pets deserve.

I came home from work to my baby with blood in his stool. I googled vet near me. No one could take us. I called metro west vet clinic and she said get the stool sample and bring him now. I am so thankful i was able to bring him. Dr Jenkins and Toni was so helpful. The front office was amazing! Abaco has his meds and this momma will not be worried all night about him.

This place was bought out by the current owners. The service compared to the old company is horrific. The staff is absolutely un-ethical, including the doctor. There are so many better vet clinics than this one.

If your dog is sick do NOT bring them here!! They will charge you for blood test then never call you back. Docs work once a week so to even get a call back is 5 days minimum.. Had to take my dying pup to another vet and request the blood work via fax which they couldn't even do right. Save you pets and go to hiawassee veterinarian. That doc actually did something and saved me money...
