Dr. Thannum has been our vet for almost 15 years. When we first came to her at Extra Care Animal Hospital, we were seeking care for a medically-fragile kitten, and Dr. Thannum was highly recommended to us by my sister-in-law (a dog trainer and fellow animal lover). She exceeded all of our expectations from the very beginning. She has cared for our cats and dogs with complicated medical needs (autoimmune hemolytic anemia, hypothyroid, feeding tubes, cancer) as well as everyday concerns. She is exceptionally knowledgeable and will not hesitate to do additional research and consult with other doctors when she needs more information to provide the best care possible for your pets. She has consistently gone above and beyond for all of our animals, and I know she loves all of her patients as though they were her own pets. We cannot say enough about Dr. Thannum and her wonderful, caring staff. Extra Care Animal Hospital is the absolute best.

Dr Thannum and Amber are amazing!! I can’t say enough good things about this practice! They have saved two of my dogs lives against all odds and treats each and every animal like their own! I’ve been going to them for over 13 years now and would ever go anywhere else. They are always available and will make the time to see your pet and treat them. Prior to finding them I would go between different vets not really being happy or comfortable with any of them. Once I came here and saw the quick action, care, comfort, talent and knowledge I knew I’d found the best place for my babies!

Dr. Thannum and her incredible staff at Extra Care Animal Hospital are friendly, knowledgeable, and a true lifeline for our family. I appreciate the way that the staff at ECAH treat my (multiple) pets as if they were their own. They're always gentle and loving, and they go out of their way to make sure that we all have a positive experience at the vet.
