Dr. Waters came out on a very cold night to examine a small cow that had had a very heavy gate fall on her. I was not too hopeful and she stayed down for a week. Dr. Waters prescribed steroids and a topical anti inflammatory. I kept the cow fed, watered and protected for a week and miracle of miracles she got up and is back with the herd. I appreciate the time and effort of Dr. Waters!

Dr. Waters and team are extremely helpful and will do their absolute best for your animals. They performed an emergency C-section on my daughter's goat after being in labor for a while. Unfortunately the goat was unable to be saved but it wasn't anything the doc and team didnt try before we had to put her down. I wouldn't go anywhere else!

Dr, Waters was just wonderful. We are new goat owners and she helped us with our 2 boys. Compassion for our animals was above and beyond what we expected. She handled our boys with such care. They didn't scream bloody murder while she did their hooves for us. She will be our vet for our goats from now on. Her knowledge of our boys was just wonderful and refreshing. She put us at ease. Our boys are on the right track now, Thank you Dr. Waters. UPDATE; After 4 years we are still clients of Heartland. Dr. Waters and her team are the best around. I wish our vet for our dogs was as good and compassinate as her team. How someone could not give her 5 stars is crazy. She has always been good with our goats, from the time they were babies and even now as adults. We HIGHLY recommend Dr. Waters and her team. We Love Dr. Waters UPDATE: She has done it again. One of our boys wasn't feeling well and this was on a saturday. Dr. Waters came out and checked our boy out and gave him shots and gave us some things to do for him. She came out all dressed up and went right in the goat pen no problem. This woman is amazing. We are forever greatful for all she does for us and others. Thank you Dr. Waters, you are the best.

I was incredibly impressed by the compassion, professionalism, and empathy shown by the staff that assisted me in allowing my sweet kitty to go over the rainbow bridge. While I am in a unique location that isn’t serviced by any at home pet euthanasia services, I was referred to Heartland to see if they could assist even though their primary care is of large animals. After my sweet kitty had suffered with a sudden severe and extremely expensive health condition, we had to make the awful and most difficult decision to allow him to pass peacefully as his condition would be incredibly painful with or without treatment. They showed so much compassion and understanding from the first phone call, not an ounce bullying me or making me feel like an awful person for making this tough tough decision as every vet office I called had made me feel. They were human beings and gave my family and my sweet fur baby the BEST of care. They allowed us to be with him the entire time and do it outside (his favorite place to be), they were calm and compassionate and I just cannot say enough good things. This was one of the hardest days but I am 100% at peace with our decision and confident he went over the rainbow bridge with love and support and was pain free. Thank you Heartland from the bottom of my heart! Picture of my beautiful boy below taken a few months ago. He was the best and will be missed dearly!

Dr Elizabeth is wonderful! Our first visit with our little goat and she was so kind and thorough and took such great care of our baby. Did not rush us at all and spent time to make sure we learned what we needed. Such a great experience!
