I used to work here as a vet tech; once from 2000-2002, then a second time from 2015-2016. Excellent medicine, top-notch surgery. Would happily pay full price as a client to have my pets taken care of here.

My favorite vet in the area! I have 3 animals, so things can get expensive... They are cheaper than Oceana Pet Hospital (previous vet) and Blue Pearl (emergency vet). The staff is always super helpful, fast service, and docs are super knowledgeable. They take the time to listen to all of your concerns, no matter how small and explain things in easy to understand terms. The docs have always called to check up on my animals the next few days after an injury/illness visit. You can tell everyone is compassionate about the work they do and the community they serve! Even after I move further away, this place is definitely worth the drive back!

I don't mind drive 50 miles from South bay to Avenue Pet Hospital. Dr. Schwach is competent and kind.
