How to Save Money at Lifetime Veterinary Clinic
Schedule Regular Vet Visits
One of the best ways to save on vet bills is to prevent expensive health issues before they develop. By scheduling regular wellness checkups, your vet can detect health issues early, helping you to avoid costly treatments and surgeries down the road.
Price Shop for Pet Prescriptions
Oftentimes our fur babies are prescribed human drugs off-label. Your vet is apt to charge more for these medications than you would pay at your local pharmacy. In fact, big-box or chain pharmacies can offer steep discounts. So it’s best to price shop.
Pet Insurance
Most pet insurance providers will pay between 80% and 90% of the vet bill. You can even get coverage for routine care and things like vaccinations and dental cleanings. If you do the math, you’ll most likely find that pet insurance makes financial sense in the long run as well as gives you peace of mind.

Get Quotes & CompareGetting to Know Your New Vet: Essential Questions to Ask
Choosing a new veterinarian is an important decision for any pet owner. You want to find someone who is competent, compassionate, and a good fit for you and your fur baby. To help you get the most out of your first appointment, here's a list of essential questions to ask your new vet:
Tell me about your experience with [pet type].
Different vets have different areas of specialization. Some are experts with cats, some dogs, some pocket pets, and some horses. Knowing that your vet has vast experience treating your specific type of pet can bring you peace of mind.
How do you handle emergencies?
You must know what to do in case of a pet medical emergency. Inquire what after-hours policy the clinic has, whether they have on-site emergency care available, and if they have a relationship with any nearby emergency animal hospitals.
How do you communicate with pet owners?
Good communication is key to building a trusting relationship with your vet. Ask how they prefer to communicate (phone calls, emails, online portal) and how often you can expect to hear from them.
Are there any breed-specific health concerns I should be aware of?
Some breeds are predisposed to certain health conditions. Knowing what to watch out for can help you catch problems early and get your pet the treatment they need.
Do you have any questions for me about my pet?
This is a great question to ask because the answer will show that the vet is interested in getting to know your pet as an individual and is willing to listen to your concerns.
Bonus question: Can I take a tour of your facility?
Getting a feel for the clinic's environment can help you and your pet feel more comfortable during your visits. Remember, you’re not just looking for a veterinarian, you’re looking for a partnership. Do not be afraid to ask these questions and any others you can think of. Any vet worth their salt will be happy to answer them. Because the more informed you are, the better equipped you'll be to make decisions about your pet's care! And that should be every vet’s top priority.

Very contentious veterinary practice. They are very gentle and kind with my dog, who by nature is very anxious. They are patient with him, and the Doctors and the girls at the front/vet assistants are always so helpful and kind! They always call after a visit with my dog to make sure he is doing well or tolerating his meds or treatment. I know he is safe in their hands!

Dr.Igaz is a top veterinary magician! He has been my only vet for 10 years and i would not trust the car of my fur babies to anyone else. Friendly professional and genuinely caring! He is also very clear and specific and takes his time without rushing.

As a first time pet owner, I couldn’t be happier with Lifetime Veterinary Clinic! They really took the time to address all of my questions and provided ample advice. From my dog’s initial shots, neutering and another minor procedure he had done (hematoma in the ear) I’ve always felt at ease and knew he was in good care. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a vet!

Our visit to Lifetime Veterinary Clinic was untimely and frantic as our dog was in more dire straits than we had originally thought. However it was also incredibly reassuring as Dr. Mehdi was able to quickly to properly diagnose Sawyer (our 6 year old Pitbull) and recognized she was not doing well after, what seemed like an innocent fall, turned out to be a life threatening incident. It was clear that she was in the best veterinary hands, he kissed her on the head and hugged her as he told her it was going to be okay. That goes a long way when you're incredibly upset and unsure of what is to come. That was the reassuring part of the untimely, frantic experience as it was clear that he was a true animal lover. His credentials in his field are also cream of the crop and was evident in our visit. Nothing but thanks to Dr. Mehdi and the staff. We are so thankful to have made the decision go here.

I brought my cat here to have a dental cleaning. Terrible idea. Once the cleaning was done, I asked to speak to the vet and he refused! So I had to pickup my cat and go. I couldn’t ask any questions about after care or the procedure. This has never happened to me before as usually the vet takes time to talk to you. I paid so much, the least you can do is talk to me for 5 min. This is the worst part, my cat was not herself after the cleaning. I called them and noticed that they didn’t give me one of the medication that I paid for. The vet wasn’t around and instead the vet tech simply told me that they meant to not give me the antibiotics, but since my cat was not feeling well I better take her to another vet! No apology, nothing. I took her to a different vet that was more costly but they were way more competent. Turns out my cat should have received the antibiotics cause that was the reason she wasn’t feeling well. so I had to get her an antibiotic shot at the new vet. In the end, when I reached out to lifetime vet they didn’t care and offered 50$ of credit after I had to email them continuously! I won’t be going back so this was useless especially after paying 1500+ I would not recommend this place, the vet tech is useless and the vet simply doesn’t care. Go to a more competent place.
