How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Central Ridge Veterinary Clinic

Preventive care

Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

Not only was Dr. Sylvia and her daughter Martha super professional, caring, sweet and personable, they were both incredibly sensitive to the fact that I was so worried about Katie getting her 1st ever major surgery. I absolutely love them both, and will continue to visit them whenever Katie needs help, even though I'm in Princeton. Thank you so much, ladies!!! Katie's doing very well!!

I am absolutely disgusted with this vet! My friend brought her cat in and Dr. Sylvia did blood work and claimed it was ear mites! You check the ears! Charged my friend $600 and sent her home. No change in her cat. My friend took her cat back and the vet kept him overnight to observe, which I doubt happened. Once again sent her home with no diagnosis, no paperwork and prescribed Prednisone. Another $400! She just had to rush her cat to Fairfield Animal Hospital in Kelowna today. Thank goodness for them. They did blood work and he was diagnosed with a blocked bladder! This vet should NOT be allowed to practice. Just steals money from people! Pathetic. Update! Because of your lack of everything, professionalism, not bothering to get a proper diagnosis, lack of empathy and money grabbing, my gf now has to put her cat down. You should be ashamed of yourself. I also believe you should return the $1000 you took from this woman! She is an emotional wreck and now in debt for nothing! Disgusted!

I have been to the clinic several times with various pets and getting wormer my outside killer cat...and have always been treated well. Sylvia is a very caring vet...sympathetic to the pet and the client. Asks before incurring costs, which is a nice thing...not just plunge ahead on various tests without talking to you.

I feel so blessed to have found these two lovely ladies, Dr. Silvia and her front desk/vet assistant (my apologies I didn't catch her name but she has a wonderful smile that can put you at ease). They both went above and beyond to help my little Gracie feel better. They helped us both to feel calm. They showed genuine care and love to my beloved little girl and I'm so grateful to them. Thank you for being unseen hero's that rise up to save our little fur babies. You are both so appreciated.

You have a duty as a veterinary clinic to help the public with no discrimination about where they are from. Sickening and pathetic that you couldn’t help Out that lady and her dog when she needed you guys most. Time to break that ridiculous stigma. A real vet helps anyone no matter what time Of day .
