How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Linley Valley Veterinary Clinic

Preventive care

Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

Driving through I had to get my dogs staples removed from a surgery he had back home (Alberta). This clinic made short notice time for me, treated me and my dog Argos like he’s been going there since he was a puppy. They removed the staples and didn’t even charge me for it. Everyone was so nice, professional and amazing to deal with.

We went to the clinic for the first time yesterday, highly recommended. Bella, 10, my senior dog, wasn't feeling well. Bella got an excellent care. She will be back with her son Tido for the vaccination very soon...

Highly recommend! I've got a fearful, reactive dog and all the staff are super accommodating to make sure she feels as comfortable as possible. Dr Drinnan has been amazing. She goes slow and shows my girl everything she's doing/using before. She even got a tail wag at the end of our last appointment! Great service!!

I went to this Vet when I wasn't able to get into my own vet. The vet and the assistant were very helpful and compassionate and great to deal with. They were patient and answered all my questions. The only thing that I would say to be helpful is that if you have pet insurance, they don't direct bill. It's not a huge issue. It just takes a little bit longer to get your portion of the cost back. I would definitely recommend this vet.
