How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Solstice Veterinary Clinic
Preventive care
Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.
Compare prescription pricing
Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.
Consider pet insurance
Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

Taylor is the most compassionate human I have ever met and she has journeyed through the ups and downs of pet ownership with our family. From complicated specialized care to basic health management- Taylor is most excellent. I highly recommend her acupuncture and massage services, especially for senior pups. Thank you Taylor- you're the best!!

Dr. Taylor Sobchuk has been my dogs primary veterinarian since she first started practicing here in Alberta. When she left Edson to open her own practice in Hinton, even with the very minor inconvenience of the 40 minute drive, we didn’t hesitate for a second to transfer our pets over to Solstice. Taylor and her staff are compassionate, knowledgeable, efficient, & friendly. They genuinely care about their clients and imho, you couldn’t ask for a better vet or a better clinic.

Dr Sobichuk did the neuter and pexie on my Great Dane SD and has been his primary Vet for 8 years at Edson Vet Clinic. . She has done his yearly Service Dog Medicals prior to each Govt recertification test. Vincent is going to retire soon and she is caring for my new SDiT Hank the Tank who is training to replace Vincent when he retired. I highly recommend Dr Sobichuk and her staff.
