How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Montrose Pet Clinic Inc

Preventive care

Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

Extremely disappointed!!! My 2 older dogs were patients there and I was happy with this clinic until today. I've got a new puppy a few weeks ago and today she throw up an entire fabric ball. I called the clinic to ask if they could do an x-ray but the lady on the phone told me they're closing soon and they couldn't book me in until Monday (!!!) since Saturday has been fully booked. She then went on to tell me that this is serious and I should check my puppy out sooner. REALLY???? Yes I will check her out in another clinic and guess what? I will NEVER return with any of my 3 dogs to this facility. This is just extremely unprofessional and rude, because if they would really care about pets, they would have checked her out with an x-ray TODAY. I will not recommend this clinic to any of my friends in Beaumont. Sad!

When my older dog had an emergency, I could not find any veterinarian in Edmonton that would take him, this was the only place that accepted to see him. I will always be grateful for that. They are very accommodating and caring, from the receptionist to the doctors. The attention given to owners and their pets is outstanding.

All the staff are friendly, fabulous, informed, and empathetic. The weekend hours really help with our crazy schedules, and we really appreciate the follow-up care. They treat the pets like their own family, not just mine.
