Village Veterinary Clinic is hands down the best clinic we’ve ever been to. Our two German Shepherds have been going there for the past 9 years, and the level of care has always been outstanding. The veterinary team are true professionals — they explain everything clearly, take their time with each visit, and do an excellent job every time. And the front desk staff? Absolutely a dream team. They always find a convenient appointment time, send reminders, and make the whole experience smooth and stress-free. You truly feel like your pets are in caring, capable hands. Thank you for taking such great care of our dogs all these years!

I have been coming to Village Veterinary Clinic for over 15 years, starting with my Boxer back in 2007. When the difficult day came that we ultimately had to put her down, I truly couldn’t imagine anyone else walking me through the process and decision making, handling her (and me!) with the care and compassion they showed us. I’ve also known Dr. Landry since grade school, and I have complete trust in his honest, straightforward, and transparent advice when it comes to caring for my dogs. I now have three—a Lab, a Boxer, and a Frenchie—and there is no one else I would trust more with their care, especially when it comes to surgeries or important medical decisions. Even when we don’t see Dr. Landry, I have been equally pleased with the other veterinarians at Village Veterinary Clinic. Most recently, all three of my dogs had their checkups with Dr. Garcia, and before that we saw Dr. Hale. Both were wonderful. I’m always confident that my dogs will be in good hands, no matter which veterinarian is available. The entire team is always responsive, helpful, and accommodating, and it’s easy to get an appointment when we need one. Their two Memorial-area clinics are also incredibly convenient for us and always clean. After more than 15 years and several very loved dogs (plus one newborn cat that my best friend rescued), I can wholeheartedly recommend Village Veterinary Clinic. They have earned my trust time and time again, and I highly recommend them for your family and your fur babies.

My dog had been a patient here for five years. He was 13 years old and my best friend. When he stopped eating for two days, I called and was told to move my appointment sooner. The receptionist confirmed a 10:30 AM appointment twice over the phone. When I arrived, I was told there was no appointment for us. I waited over an hour in the lobby while they tried to squeeze us in, despite explaining my dog was elderly and hadn’t eaten. They recommended X-rays and lab work, which I agreed to immediately. The results were inconclusive, and we were told to fast him for an ultrasound. Unfortunately, that was also inconclusive, meaning my dog went from 10 PM the night before until about 5 PM the next day without food while already not eating. The most upsetting part was our interaction with the practice owner, Dr. Landry. When my mother asked reasonable questions about whether a biopsy was necessary, he spoke to her in a dismissive and condescending way, saying things like “Are you done?” and “I won’t judge if you can’t afford a biopsy.” Watching my mother cry from the way she was spoken to was heartbreaking. Veterinary care should be compassionate and respectful, especially when families are facing the possible loss of a pet. We love Village Veterinary Clinic! Both of our dogs have gone here, one being a lover of the vet and one not - Dr. Hannah Hale and all her staff have done such an amazing job with both of them!
