Update: Loki had his surgery and it went well. They updated me via the app the entire time- prep, surgery, wrap up, etc and then Dr Kosich called me to go over after care. During check in the staff was so welcoming. I can tell they live animals and their job so that price list included peace of mind for me. The staff was nice, caring and informative, and the clinic was very clean (Heights location). My doggie was immediately comfortable with the male dr and the female vet techs. He's usually more cautious in new places. He needed dental work and while the cost was pricey they went over each itemized item and explained what it is, providing a high and low end estimate. They also have an app to make payments, receipts, updates, and test results easy to retrieve which I find quite convenient. I def recommend this place.

I was impressed with the care and concern the staff showed my spicy old chihuahua, Iris, during her exam and blood draw. Dr Guy sat on the floor wth treats and let Iris get comfortable with her. Again, impressive. They also made sure she had water and a bed to lay on while we waited. The facility was clean and even smelled nice. 5 stars!

All of my kids go to modern animal. I was most nervous about my older kitten needing a blood draw. The docs there helped us strategize about premedicating beforehand so it was easier and less stressful for her. Very skilled docs and techs. They've also helped us with same day appointments for when our babies aren't feeling great - each time because they ate something they weren't supposed to.

Finding a vet who understands a fear-reactive dog is not easy, but this team exceeded every expectation. From the moment we walked in, everyone made sure our dog felt as comfortable as possible. They asked before offering treats, and never pushed him beyond what he was comfortable with. It was obvious they understand dog behavior and know how to work with anxious dogs. Both the vet tech and the doctor were excellent. We came in with a long list of questions and concerns, and they kept track of everything without missing a single item. They were knowledgeable, thorough, and explained everything in a way that was easy to understand. I especially appreciated how they clearly separated routine wellness items, medical concerns that should be addressed, and optional diagnostics. Pricing was transparent throughout, and we never felt pressured into additional testing. Our appointment lasted about 90 minutes because we had so much to discuss, but we never felt rushed. At the same time, everything was very efficient. There was no unnecessary waiting, and everyone respected our time. The clinic itself is clean, modern, and welcoming. We were even offered a drink when we arrived and were taken in a few minutes early. The app is another big plus. Being able to access medical records, schedule appointments online, receive reminders, and message the practice makes everything much more convenient. We honestly cannot think of anything they could have done better.

My first visit with my cat Sir Loin, and I loved it, and Modern Animal is our veterinarian office from now on. Appointment making and reschedules, the communication and follow up is top tier!!!! The office was clean and neat. Nurse Lari and Dr Tyler just wonderful with my boy! My other cat BroHam has his appointment Monday morning. 10 out of 10
