I would recommend healthy paws to furry…
I would recommend healthy paws to furry baby parents who are looking for good insurance or thinking of getting one. I got my Bichon puppy from an AKC heart-rated breeder and expected him to be healthy. I did the internet search for pet insurance and chose healthy paws when he was 3-month. Now he is 2-year and is diagnosed with luxation patella. A surgery fix was suggested by the vet and the cost was around 3K. I can't tell you how frustrated I'm to hear this news. I did a lot of work to find a well-rated breeder and chose the almost most expensive one, but my baby still suffers from a health problem. I talked to the breeder and she said this puppy was the first sick one in her 30+ years of experience. I couldn't tell if she said the truth, but anyway, the accident could happen and I'm grateful that I enrolled my baby in the insurance when he was young so this accident was covered. going through surgery with your pet is super tough, it's even tougher than getting the surgery on yourself both physically and mentally as well as economically, and the insurance now plays an important role and makes sure you don't need to "give up" therapy due to budget. The reimbursement process of healthy paws is very fast, my first claim was processed using around 1 week, and my later claims were processed using 3 days. They also don't increase premiums a lot when your pet gets older compared to other insurance. If you're thinking of enrolling your pet, just do it as early as possible since the insurance doesn't cover pre-existing conditions. There's only 15 days waiting period which is short compared to other insurances.

Pets Best IS the Best!
Pets Best is superior to all other pet insurance. I have shopped around for quotes and their policy was the very best for coverage for wellness, illness and accidents. I feel very secure knowing my kitties are protected for life!

My cat died, they did not care to reimburse
I would give 0 if I could. I would not recommend them. I have been with them since I got both my cats. I have been putting money into this insurance for years. My cat got a urethral obstruction which has never happened before. I had to go the emergency vet. Paid a pretty penny to give him surgery. When I submitted the claim it took them so long to process it. Due to covid I haven't been able to bring my cat to a vet for his shots, cause no one was accepting new clients at the time. Then he gets this, I submit, they refuse to pay me even after I told them my cat passed away a couple weeks after surgery! MY CAT DIED. They didn't care they were like sorry claim denied. Wouldn't even give me 50% of the amount I spent on his surgery.. They bank on other peoples struggles and have no sense of empathy. STAY AWAY FROM THEM

There are better options out there
Canceled today to find a company that actually cares. Applied through my employer, provided all medical records for my dogs, confirmed no pre-existing conditions, and was told my policy would go into effect in 30 days. Well, my dog desperately needed a teeth cleaning so near the end of the 30 day period I paid for the pre-dental exam, that way once insurance kicked in I could take him in for the full cleaning immediately. Well, after insurance kicks in and I get his teeth cleaned I submit a claim for the full cleaning and they say because I got the pre-exam a few days before the activation date it qualifies as a pre-existing condition. The insurance wouldn't have covered the pre-exam anyway, that's why I paid for it and we confirmed he had no pre-existing conditions before that. Obviously, I would've waited another couple of days if this little loophole was made clear by the mountain of documents they sent me or by any single agent at all, but then they'd actually have to do their job and cover my pets. Absolutely ridiculous, I'm finding an insurance provider that will actually do what I pay them for and take care of my pets. Glad I found out they suck early so they didn't get much of my money.

You were always here for us!! We have been covered by Fetch/PetPlan…
We have been covered by Fetch/PetPlan for 13 years on my Maltese. They have done an amazing job with helping me manage his health issues and allowing me to not have to worry about the money aspects of treatment. Sadly on Friday, we had to let my boy go. He was suffering and I couldn't do that to him. Tattianna Smith was very helpful and understanding when I told her I needed to end our coverage because of his death. I appreciate the kindness.

Still waiting
When our puppy broke her leg in June, the vet sent the bill three times and I sent it twice. They are using the last one dated August and still nothing as of 9/14.
