Horrible Customer Service
I was a customer for 10 years. Initially recommended this service to everyone. In the last few years they implemented new policies and increased rates significantly with little to no notification. My rates increase to around $100/month for two dogs to $275/month in last two years. I only kept this coverage because with aging pets I thought it may pay off. However, I had a credit card canceled due to fraud and I ended up two months behind on automatic payments. I did not receive any emails that I was over due, despite the company claiming they sent emails. I received a letter that my coverage would be cancelled 9/16 a few days prior to cancelation date. Per customer service this was "ample notification." I called on 9/16 in attempts to remit payment and continue coverage. I was told that the account was canceled at 12:01 am they would not be able to re-instate coverage. Now after 10 years I would have to re-apply and all of my pets pre-existing conditions would no longer be covered. Run from this company. If you are able save the money monthly to have a rainy day fund for your pet.

Just renewed for a second year of Figo coverage
We were skeptical about Figo because other pet insurance had been recommended by our vet. But we were hoping that the Costco name would mean quality. We definitely were correct--and are very happy with our Figo experience--particularly with the claims we have had to put into because of our 3.5lb pomeranian's broken leg (which definitely required specialist care). Figo has been professional and efficient and didn't even question our claims. We just renewed both of our pom's Figo policies.

Great experience!
My experiences with Embrace have always been great, and this past time was no different. Embrace makes it easy to submit a claim through the app by simply taking a picture of the vet paperwork and uploading it. The response time is fast, and reimbursement occurs in a timely manner as well.

We took our pup in for his annual…
We took our pup in for his annual wellness exam. At the exam they wanted to do some additional testing for an issue that they found. When I submitted the claim, it became both a wellness claim and an illness claim. Pet's Best put the wellness exam and fecal float under the illness claim, effectively making it so they didn't reimburse for the office visit or fecal. It became an expense in our deductible. I had to call and question it, then took another 6 weeks before they figured it out. Fecal float as an illness? Wellness office visit slipped over to an illness visit? I'm thankful they finally did fix it for us but it took many months. Our claims since then have been processed great!

ASPCA Pet Insurance
It was great to know that ASPCA offers pet insurance. Since I am already aware of how ASPCA devotes their time, patience, and strong caring for so many animals, I decided to purchase pet insurance from an organization that is widely known for all they do. The process was simple and easy to complete.

Is it worth it?
We have had this Insurance on our dog now for almost 12 years. Paid the Premiums Every Month. We Never filed a Claim until he needed Dental work in April of this Year, $3400. We received 50% Reimbursement. Then this August He injured his Neck while Flinging a toy around and was in the Vet Hospital for 2 weeks, At a Cost of over $2800. Filed a Claim, 2nd claim in 11 1/2 Years and were Reimbursed $108. (This part is Edited.) 2 Weeks in the Hospital Wasn't Covered Due to the Fact the Vet Didn't Classify the 2 Week Stay as (Medically Needy)They Classified it as Boarding on their Report to the Ins. Company. Which is NOT COVERED or Correct. Make sure you understand Exactly what your plan Covers, and that the Vet understands what Their Paper work to the Insurance Company should be labeled as. Ask Questions of the Vet. Could be quite costly if you don't.. The Ins. Company only goes by what the Vet say's, Be Thorough!!

I was told because I live in New York, they won't cover cat 4 years and over, how pathetic is that. I won't be recommending them to anyone

Uses preexisting for hereditary issues don’t insure with them
My dog Teddy had kennel cough when we adopted him. He saw the vet 5 times for treatment. During that time the vet made notes on observations unrelated to the treatment. When Teddy had surgery for a French bulldog hereditary issue the company said pre existing. The insurance is useless unless your pet is involved in an accident and even then given their track record they would probably try to find a way to reject the claim. Don’t insure your pet with them

Easy Sign Up
Super easy sign up and the representative called me right away. Coverage limits seems reasonable and hopefully this company earns the stars that I am giving them.
