Quick reimbursement, very happy with the support
I received the reimbursement that I was expecting. Exactly as was described in our policy. It was quick and communication smooth. Emails were replied in 12hrs or less. Very happy with my 1st claim.

Worth the Premium
I never imagined filing claims would be this easy and that getting help via chat would give me resolution in a matter of minutes like it did today for an error that I made. Trupanion has afforded me the ability to give my pet the medical attention she needs, and to think I would cancel the insurance because I thought it was too expensive! My pup has benign brain tumors that I could not afford to treat. Trupanion has already covered upwards of 45k; most of it is pre-approved and paid directly to the vet. Without it, Lola would not be enjoying life with her loving family.

Absolutely terrible company
Absolutely terrible company. My husband and myself are prior military, and where recommended to use Embrace Pet Insurance through USAA. We opened the insurance around January of 2021, for our two German Shepherds. We adopted one of our German Shepherds after the policy was opened and took her in to get vitamins and deworming as you do for puppies. They took care of the claim. Fast forward about a year later our youngest German Shepherd turns one. She is loosing weight rapidly, eating everything in site, has issues going to the bathroom. We take her into the vet to get blood work done to find out she has a pancreatic disorder which will not show in dogs until around age one. I submitted a claim and got denied because it was a pre existing condition. I appealed the claim With a letter from the vet stating that this is NOT a pre existing condition. And they once again denied my claim. I got an email for the denial at 1:48, called the office at 1:50 the same day, to ask a few questions and cancel the insurance I've had for over a year and paying $200 a month for, and for over a year now. But of course no one was able to answer my call. No one was in the office stated the woman I spoke to, to cancel my insurance. How is it that in two minutes, no one is able to speak with me? And why have I been paying $200 a month for the insurance and them not cover something when I really needed it. USAA should be doing business elsewhere.

Good coverage, slightly long reimbursement time
Reimbursements usually take a few weeks, but they seem very fair. Thank goodness we have Pet's Best -- they covered everything anticipated for our pup's emergency visit after she ate something bad (of which we'll never know the origin). It made it much easier and far less scary to say "yes" to all the recommendations by the vet, knowing most of it would be covered.

The Coverage You & Your Pets Deserve
After I struggled paying for my late cat’s vet bills earlier this year, I vowed to always have pet insurance to help with their medical bills. I set out to find the perfect pet insurance option for me and my fur babies and I landed on Embrace Pet. I’m so glad that I did. They have been wonderful helping me with not only illnesses, but they have a great wellness plan too! My best friend of nine years, Major Watson, is wagging his tail for all their help. He recently got diagnosed with congested heart disease. While that is very difficult news to learn, I can rest a little easier knowing that Embrace is here to help us through this challenging time. Our new kitten, Max, says it’s paws-atively amazing that his big brother is getting the best veterinary care with Embrace’s help so they can continue playing. A pet parent shouldn’t have to make a decision based on financial limitations when making crucial medical decisions.

I inquired about pet insurance for my new Boxer puppy. The staff was knowledgeable and explained the coverage. I purchased the plan for what I believe is a great price, with 90% reimbursement for accident and illness after a $500.00 deductible that I chose. Also covers any licensed Vet of my choice. Could not find a better price than I got.
