Reasonable price
I was happy to find a reasonably priced pet insurance for a 4.5 year old dog. I opted for a higher deductible to keep it lower but it was a better price than other insurers for comprehensive coverage.

Love Lemonade!
Lemonade is great! I was worried at first, as I’ve never had pet insurance. When reading reviews, lemonade was always highly rated. I got the insurance right when we got our puppy and have already met the deductible and have been reimbursed for a claim. It really puts your mind at ease to know that you have insurance. The claims are also approved really quickly, like within days! Highly recommend!

No Coverage
No Coverage We had rushed our fur baby into the vet due to him having symptoms of a urinary obstruction. We had signed up for our 30 day offer period, which in an email we received said the waiting period was waived. It was waived due to it being within the 24hr period. The insurance would not cover and was saying the opposite despite what I was reading to them in our email we got for the company. They also said since our pet was showing symptoms that it was pre-existing. This has never happened to him before and there is no record of it. Of course we are going to bring our animal in when they are showing symptoms. We even called the Vet that we brought our cat for this NEW proble, and even they said that this was ridiculous and should be covered since it is not pre-existing. Absolutely disgusting of this company To follow up: they said I can call and speak to someone. I have spoken to numerous people and have gotten no where. This company is a scam and their 30 day free trial is a loophole for them to not have to pay. I don’t know how a company is going to tell me my pets condition is pre-existing when there has never been a diagnosis for it. I’m not sure how you can tell me it is pre-existing when this is brand new and the reason I brought him in. Why have us submit our vet records, if you don't even go by it? Don’t be fooled by them telling you to give them a call and they’ll help. I read their policies to them and they told me I’m wrong. Not to mention this customer service was absolutely rude. Do your research prior. Just received an email saying the company would delete my review because they couldn't find my account which is impossible. They will do anything to hide the truth

Terrible experience and terrible…
Terrible experience and terrible customer service. Be warned - there is a 14 day wait period before illness coverage pays for any claims, which is apparently in the fine print. The day I purchased coverage was not the day it started (mine started a day later). The claims examination process took approx. 20 days - twice as long as they claim most claims adjudications take. They entered the wrong date of service, had me running back to my vet to get additional documentation for the visit and then after 20 long days, the first rep said the claim was denied because it was not a covered service and the second rep said i couldn’t get reimbursed because I was in the 14 day wait period. Either way, the customer service is sub par (the rep in the chat function just deserted the chat mid way and stopped responding after giving me inaccurate information), I did not get a copy of the policy in the mail, I got an email with a link to the policy which didn’t work. So I downloaded the app, again no way to see the policy. So if you don’t scroll down to the very bottom when you sign up to read the fine print, you might not know about the wait period. It‘s deceptive in my opinion and the defensive tone of their customer dis-service really soured it. Needless to say, I am cancelling my policy and going with a company that doesn’t mistreat me as a customer, has a fair and transparent claims process and appreciates my concern and efforts as a pet owner.

Poor experience
Rip off. I have had trupanian for 4 years and have only had to use them once. I had to bring my dog go the emergency vet once since she was vomiting and refused to eat. They only ended up covering 240 of the 750 dollar bill. I'm better off just saving my money.
