Cancer is never a fun diagnosis
My pup had a lump that was aspirated, and we found out it was cancerous. I contacted Embrace, the representative was extremely professional and kind and helped me with pre-certification for the surgery to remove the cancer. It was a little less stressful, knowing that the insurance from Embrace would help with the surgery. I was honestly shocked how quick the turnaround was for the claim once I submitted it. I thought it may take several months, but it was a bit faster. We are very satisfied with Embrace pet insurance.

quick payment on claims....frequent email updates. Recent large increases to my premium had me questioning the value of Fetch...I would say it paid off because of the rather large claim we had to file. (still not overjoyed with large premium increase - and I was not notified when it happened).

Spectacular
Spectacular. I adopted a dog. Only had him a month. His coverage went into effect 2 weeks later. One month after his adoption he got life threatening bloat and had major surgery. HealthyPaws to the rescue. Coverage was quick to cover and so simple to file. His surgery was Christmas nite emergent. I was so happy I had gotten the insurance. I already had it on my other pup. 2600 dollars saved and my dog is doing great. Thank you Healthy Paws.

I liked that there were so many options to choose from. I've never bought pet insurance for my dogs in the past, but I decided to with my new puppy. A great relief to have Pets Best…
A great relief to have Pets Best Insurance. We have had a policy for 4 years with small claims. Over the last month our terrier was suddenly very sick. She received great life saving care but the bills were very high. Thankfully Pets Best covered all the bills ina timely manner . This company is outstanding !

Buyer beware
Buyer beware, Trupanion has a separate deductible for each condition, good for the life of the pet. They claim it's for the customer's benefit because the deductible doesn't reset every year. This is stated on the coverage page, but I don't remember reading about this when I applied. Our dog had several curable conditions this past year that exceeded the deductible when added together, but we got no reimbursement because they were separate conditions. So the way I see it, the only thing this policy is good for is for long term chronic conditions that don't get resolved within a year, or expensive surgeries. Addition: I read the reply and nowhere in my application did it say that the per illness deductible is optional. I also looked through the Trupanion website and the only place I could find that even mentions the deductible policy is under a link in the fine print to download a state by state sample copy of the policy. Even there, it says that once the deductible is met for that condition they'll continue to pay, but the reader has to infer that this means there could be multiple deductibles going on at once. Feels pretty deceptive that this policy isn't clearly discussed on the main website page.
