Customer representative MEGAN was…SUPERB!!!!
Customer representative MEGAN was superb. She answered my questions about my recent claims and informed me that I omitted a wellness form. She advised me to obtain it from my vet, which I did, and thus, obtain reconsideration for benefits for recent claim filed and also for a prior claim that I omitted the forenamed form. Megan volunteered to contact my vet office to obtain the earlier wellness form for the prior claim. I so impressed that she would make the effort to contact my vet to ensure that the proper form(s) that Fetch claims needed for my respective claims' reconsideration were obtained. Megan acted to aid me for which I thank her. Megan just contacted me to inform me that she received the requested documents from my vet. What I experienced with Megan was a customer representative who is knowledgeable, courteous, patient, and went above and beyond with help. She is the consummate professional, which is so rare in this era. Megan is a GEM!

I agree this is a great pet insurance company. Easy to submit claims, fast review of the claim, and quick turn around time on sending out funds. The invoices need to be for a single pet at a time, but once you are aware of that, it is a very smooth process

I am not a fan of Trupanion. Customer for ~10 years
I've had Trupanion for about 10 years, and for me, I would have been better off without it. If your dog has a catastrophic injury or major disease, it's probably worth it. For general health decline, it's not, in my opinion. My dog's monthly fee started at about $30 and is now about $130. However, my biggest complaint about Trupanion is how often then deny valid claims, then I have to appeal, then usually they are paid. My dog has been on several prescription drugs for YEARS. I have met my deductible for the related conditions for the drugs. Yet, when I file for reimbursement, claims are denied and I have to call to follow up and have the claim resubmitted. It is frustrating and time consuming.

I love the quick pay out straight to my checking account. Although, after one year of having your insurance the price went up. I hope this doesn't keep happening because I won't be able to afford the insurance. The support I had when I called to help me use the insurance was great!
