So thankful for Healthy Paws Pet insurance
I can't say enough good things about Healthy Paws Pet insurance. It provides me comfort knowing I can provide the best care for my dog. He recently has been dealing with some health issues that have been extremely costly; pancreatitis and a torn ACL. Healthy paws has been great. They process the claims fast, without question except for an occasional medical record to substantiate the claim and communicate great. Just between my dog's 2 torn ACLs I have likely gotten most of his premiums paid for and he is 10 and still has ongoing health issues.

Short Experience
Unfortunately I can't give a meaningful service review of this company. I signed up a year ago, filed no claims and on renewal, my premium almost doubled. The increased premium was beyond my ability to pay on a senior fixed income so I had to cancel the policy.

My beautiful dog became very ill with anemia and she almost passed. They stood by us while she made a very slow recovery. They made me feel like they were as concerned about her as I was. She was diagnosed with extreme anemia over 2 years ago and they are still there for us.

Great product, slow claim resolution
I submitted 4 claims of together for existing condition. 1 claim got approved immediately, the other 3 are just sitting there 2 weeks later, not reviewed

Nothing Much Covered!!!
I suppose the have 90% coverage for the policy I have. Yet, I have not gotten that with the claims I have filed. You claim you donât cover exams, which is crazy because the pet has to be examine to determine what is wrong with it when there are issues. That should be the main thing covered! Then you do not cover vaccinations, which is ridiculous! You just do not cover much of anything. I will be searching for new insurance for my pet! I pay you all too much monthly for you not to cover much of anything. Ridiculous!

It is quick and easy. When Iâm at the vet the last thing I want to be worrying about is filling out the claim. I love that with Trupanion the vets office can do it for me and I get an answer very quickly. I also love that it is directly paid to the vet so no extra hassle.
