I just got the insurance so I don’t know how it really is. Getting on it was fine. I will know more when and if I will have to use it. Right now just paying just to be sort of safe. Can’t tell until I have an emergency

Best Insurance/Service for both my pet and myself
I have had Trupanion since Callie was a puppy, shes 10 now. Two weeks after setting up an account with Trupanion, Callie jumped out of my car. Over the years we have had various issues come up including two knee replacements.... She does love those squirrels. Trupanion has been nothing but fantastic each and ever time! When your pet, the one you love, is injured or suffering, the last thing you want to deal with is the headache of an "insurance" company. I only wish my human insurance was a kind and helpful as Trupanion. I have called and been told "Don't worry about that, that is our job. You just worry about your fur baby." Those words from that man, during that stressful time, will stay with me. It is part of what I think about when I refer people to Trupanion. There is literally NOT ONE bad thing I can say about them. They will not give you a reason to. They are quick with invoices and responses, kind and respectful over the phone. Its like you are talking to your family when you call. If I could be a spokesperson for Trupanion.... I would! They are everything that an insurance company should be, and more. I have never regretted getting or having pet insurance and Trupanion will be the company that I continue to choose for every pet I have. They have truly set the bar. Thank you Trupanion for taking such good care of my Callie girl. from Callie and myself

So thankful for Healthy Paws Pet insurance
I can't say enough good things about Healthy Paws Pet insurance. It provides me comfort knowing I can provide the best care for my dog. He recently has been dealing with some health issues that have been extremely costly; pancreatitis and a torn ACL. Healthy paws has been great. They process the claims fast, without question except for an occasional medical record to substantiate the claim and communicate great. Just between my dog's 2 torn ACLs I have likely gotten most of his premiums paid for and he is 10 and still has ongoing health issues.

Unfortunately I can't give a meaningful service review of this company. I signed up a year ago, filed no claims and on renewal, my premium almost doubled. The increased premium was beyond my ability to pay on a senior fixed income so I had to cancel the policy.

My beautiful dog became very ill with anemia and she almost passed. They stood by us while she made a very slow recovery. They made me feel like they were as concerned about her as I was. She was diagnosed with extreme anemia over 2 years ago and they are still there for us.
