So Worth It
I love Healthy Paws and the peace of mind it offers. My dog Winnie recently had to undergo an intense bladder surgery. I have received my reimbursements all well within a week of submitting my claims. I know a lot of people argue “why not just put the monthly payment into a savings account” but I love being able to tell my vet “do whatever necessary” because I know it won’t ever cost me a lot of money. It’s a lot easier for me to make monthly payments to insurance knowing I’ll have coverage no matter how large the cost versus hope that the amount I put into savings was enough. We have had coverage for Winnie since 2019, and if we had put the amount we pay into insurance for Winnie instead into savings, we would not have had the money to cover her bladder surgery, nor other vet treatments she has had in between 2019 to today. So incredibly worth it.

Everyone is always so great
Everyone is always so great. I was recently attempting to enroll our new pet and the website was acting up. I got a text immediately from a representative, Monica, asking if I needs any assistance. She called and worked me through getting everything set up how I needed it. Everyone I have ever dealt with has been so incredibly helpful and kind. Would and have recommended this company to friends and family.

Well they hide the fact they don’t…
Well they hide the fact they don’t cover 95% of things. I submitted a claim for my new Rescue Dog River who was having Ear issues and it was 100% denied and given an explanation that EXAMS aren’t covered most MEDICINES AREN’T COVERED and them their explanation why it was denied listed about 50 things they DON’T COVER and they said that we the Trupanion customers SHARE the risk of coverage? Huh? Explain that the person that answers the reviews? Then look at these reviews especially the 5 star ones. Most of those are before a claim was done but, say signing up was easy or the staff was so nice assisting them in signing up. Waste of $140/month. Please ask them for everything they DON’T COVER before you join as you won’t. Meds? Nope! Ears Nope! Anything related to something in the past, absolutely NOT. Preventative treatment for anything, you got it, NOT.

Embrace pet insurance is the best!
Embrace has been a blessing for my two rescue furbabies since 2016. Recently my male Schnorkie had a complete hind leg CCL tear. Embrace processed and settled my emergency visit claim within 48 hours from submission. I sent the CCL surgery precertification form simultaneously and it was approved within 72 hours. My furbaby had his surgery within 72 hours of injury and is in recovery now. I am so grateful for embrace pet insurance allowing me to focus on my furbaby without having to stress about the overall cost of everything.

Carl was very thoughtful! I called in with a claim question and he thoroughly combed through months of medical records to ensure he was providing the best advice as possible. While I didn’t get the outcome I was looking for, the logic and reasoning he provided made sense. I’m thankful he took my call tonight; he’s definitely an asset to Nationwide.

Our 2 year old Riley
Our 2 year old Riley, had ingested a foreign object and was constantly vomiting, not eating or drinking, so we ended up at the vet ER. Riley is my first dog and I don’t have any experience on how to use the Trupanion’s benefits and this added to my stress. Rebecca went beyond her duties to help me. She was my Angel and guided me throughout my experience. She was patient, compassionate and professional. Congratulations Trupanion for having such an employee and THANK you Rebecca for being there for me. I also want to mention Carolyn for her help and support.
