Saved my dog and me!
I have Trupanion since my dog was 2 months old. I have not really utilized the insurance benefit until she gets to 3 years old. So, I was wondering if I should cancel the membership since my dog was so healthy. However, my dog started limping all the sudden. Our vet suggested me to have her knee surgery as soon as we can. I was worried about the cost, but Trupanion insurance helped a lot. In addition, our vet directly sends a bill and pre-surgery cost approval to Trupanion. So, I just needed to pay my coinsurance portion to the vet. I was surprised how fast Trupanion approval process was, after our vet sent the bills to them. I am so glad to have Trupanion insurance.

Quick, Stress Free Reimbursement Process
I've had a little too much experience filing emergency medical claims for my dog this year, but Embrace has made the process of filing claims and getting reimbursed quick and stress free. They have also been very good about honoring their commitment to cover allowable medical expenses under my policy. I would definitely recommend them to all of my friends looking to buy pet insurance.

They still won't process a claim I…
They still won't process a claim I have. My pet has had several physicals and yet they say they do not have a physical on record. Why do I bother carrying your insurance when you delay and put on hold any claims I submit? I'm tired of having to call and work this out with an agent. EC 0521-8050

Trupanion provides EXCEPTIONAL payment and service
I have covered Tucker with Trupanion since he was less than six months old. This has been a true partnership with Trupanion always providing exceptional service - great electronic claim processing, fantastic information on the status of my claim, excellent payment, and thorough information on what payment was made and denied. I provide complete information on the claim to expedite processing. Based on my policy, there has always been excellent justification for all their decisions. As an example of their service, Tucker was seen at APEX Animal Hospital yesterday morning, and I submitted the electronic claim late last night. Early this morning, I received an email from Trupanion that my claim had been approved, providing an easily understandable Explanation of Benefits and notification that my payment was deposited. Wow! One cannot get better service! While I always received prompt service from Trupanion, this is a new record. Trupanion doesn't always process claims this quickly, but they are always very prompt. I am exceedingly happy with Trupanion's payment plan options, customer-friendly service, prompt and understandable payment, and overall demeanor. I would highly recommend Trupanion.
