Poor reimbursement process
On multiple occasions reimbursements have been sent by check vs going to the direct deposit account I have setup (and that spot has direct deposited before). When I try to get in touch with customer service, I get an automated line saying to use the app. When I try and contact via email I get no response. Also, I always pay my vet in full but this time it says it’s paying the vet and me!?!? I moved the day after submitting that reimbursement so this entire situation has been super inconvenient as I’ve not gotten a response from customer service and not sure if it’s direct deposit (like it’s supposed to be) or a check. Awful service all around.

Embrace made an obvious mistake and never read my claim or reviewed the receipts.
I had to resubmit my claim because the original review was in error. This company obviously does not look at the receipts from the vets. If they don't honor their policy and reimburse for things listed on the policy, it is not worth anything. This is the first claim I have made in the entire multi-year period I have had the policy. I believe if they don't honor their policies I am entitle for a full refund of all my premiums, since it is obvious they never provided me with the protection I paid for.

Our enrollment experience was 5 stars. No wait time when I called. The representative was efficient, polite, helped me understand the policy and choices, and the policies came via email same day. This process was not a time waster and its for a good producr.

Bought through employer benefits program
I've had two claims since we started this up about 2 months ago. On the first one the claim was processed super quick, and paid out after the deductible was met. Seems relatively inexpensive, and the claims APP is super easy to use.
Money grab
While I appreciate the coverage trupanion can offer my dog, I am highly disappointed that over the 2 years I have had this insurance, my MONTHLY cost has increased by $50. That is an extreme amount for a monthly cost increase (especially since i have yet to utilize this insuance in any way) and it is no longer an affordable option for me to continue with this insurance. I do not believe that this cost increase is necessary to "better serve me" as is often spouted in the notice letters, but is just a money grab by you playing on the emotions of pet owners. I will be better off saving that same amount of money each month in an account for my dog where I know it will be put to appropriate use.

so far, not so good
so far, awful. We got Embrafce insurance recently. Sadly, my dog got badly hurt when she got inadvertently stepped on and then squished in a door (long story, no mal-intent, but dementia is a factor with the culprit) Embrace is denying the claim saying it is orthopedic and not covered yet. INSANE! unless they turn around the decision, I will drop and get another.
