Exhausting frustrated but happy in the end
This was my first claim but multiple claims and my experience was exhausting and stressful. Now Embrace does say the first claim is the hardest because of all the medical records they have to acquire from the vets and after the first claim the process is easier. First off my vet was not sending documents embrace needed. Then embrace said they didn't receive documents that I knew they had cause I scanned them. But the main problem was embrace was waiting for papers from a vet my dog never went to located in another state. The main central office must have been located there. This was 3 months of waiting after they received all medical records. I didn't get results until I called them twice and spoke to 3 separate employees at different times. By time I spoke to the last employee I was frustrated and they resolved the issue that day and I received a deposit 3 days later. That employee made me very happy. There is a breakdown with communication that needs to be resolved somehow. Having this insurance has saved me a few thousand dollars and I got the insurance last year.

Embrace did very well in reimbursing us…
Embrace did very well in reimbursing us fairly quickly. We were notified of approval 10 days after we submitted the claim. We were paid 2 days after approval. My only complaint would be that upon submittal of our claim, there was no updates to its status until the approval 10 days later. Just having it sit there for 10 days without any actions was a bit worrisome.

Beware of policy wording
Beware of policy wording. I signed up but after fully reading the policy I cancelled and switched elsewhere. They cover 90% of the bill MINUS the exam fees (which if you need a specialist can be $350+tax) and taxes. So where I am tax is 13% which means at most they cover 77%. They claim to not increase premium with age but it is very clear in the reviews to after a few years they will jack your premiums way up. Many people aww their premiums double. Their deductible is per illness so if you pay 700 for an emergency to start the coverage you would have to pay it again if your dog starts vomitting again. In general really read the policies in depth and look into reviews and you will see this is a very misleading company. I cancelled and that wasn't too difficult. Hopefully it get processed as they promise.

Claim took weeks to process
Claim took weeks to process. And… I called before surgery to go through all classifications and charges and was given the ok. However, when the claim was submitted there was over $600 that was deemed not covered. This was devastating to me financially. I will switch providers as soon as possible.
