Highly recommend Healthy Paws
I cannot recommend Healthy Paws enough. They have been lifesavers for my family; we started coverage when we adopted our two dogs as puppies ~7 years ago, and Healthy Paws has been there every step of the way as we have navigated multiple health challenges with each dog. The claims process is straightforward, our reimbursements arrive quickly, and the customer service feels personal. Anytime a friend or colleague brings a new pet into their home, I urge them to get Healthy Paws coverage.

The associate, Dan, who I spoke with when my pet passed was very kind and compassionate, while clearly explaining what I needed to submit, how he would close the policy, and how refunds would be processed. On each occasion when I called, especially when I purchased the policy, my call was promptly answered and every associate was very knowledgeable and helpful. Web site is extremely easy to use.

Thank you Embrace!
We have had 3 dogs insured by Embrace for a total of 14 years, this month. They have always stood by their policies and they have been there for us when our dogs have gotten sick. We know, no matter what happens, our dogs can get the care that keeps them happy and healthy.

My annual visit was not 365 days past the prior yr visit but like 360 and it was not covered. This is unacceptable and I plan on canceling.

Large Premium Increases, crummy customer service, poor website
I have had ongoing problems with this company since July 29, 2024. It took a full month to resolve. Premiums have increased by $50/month for our two pets this year alone, yet, this policy barely covers anything. Further, there appears to be an extreme lack of staffing in the call center, as wait times can be (per their own recording) up to an hour. I have left messages but received no return calls. I persisted and was finally able to get through after a ridiculously long hold only to be told that our premiums were increasing due to increased costs in our area. This has not been our experience at all. Another major problem is the website. I was unable to log on for weeks before someone finally got it straightened out. I have serious concerns about the viability of this company.

Embrace has been really good to both me…
Embrace has been really good to both me and my dog, Casper. She had an accident where she fell off my bed and fractured her left hind leg because she didn’t have pre existing conditions it was covered under the accident and illness limit of the policy. Embrace is good but as with any insurance understand your coverage.

I had to sit and read to totally…
I had to sit and read to totally understand the benefits. The last insurance I had for my heavenly Melodie really only gave a percentage back to me with the well awareness yearly vacs and tests. But I also was only paying $29 monthly. As I read and finally understood the “my choice deductible” amount all finally clicked. It’s the injuries and sudden illnesses that was so expensive. I learned that on May 29, 2024 when my Melodie suddenly lost control of her back legs and blood clot burst. By the next day between her vet and med vet assistance the bill was over $3000.00. So yes I now understand just where the insurance really pays.
