I am not sure at this point. I just began coverage through Spot and have only submitted one claim for a wellness visit. But I can say I feel bombarded with emails. I really just need to be informed of whether or not a claim has been applied to my deductible and my remaining balance

One of our dogs got aspiration pneumonia. He didn't make it, but the fight for his life was about $12,000. They paid according to our plan. The first time you submit a claim on a pet can take a little longer than you would want, but we had our money within a month. Was so thankful we had the policy and they didn't give us a hard time using it.

They didn't cover anything
They didn't cover anything, even with deductible. There was no communication on claim denial or reason. ASPCA is crap. Paid into it for months, took my dog in for a wellness exam, shots, and he developed an ear infection just prior to the scheduled visit. The visit cost $562, and when I submitted the claim I received $0.00! They didn't even have the courtesy to email that the claim was processed and denied. No explanation just denied. Dropping them like a "hot potato"!

Horrible experience
Horrible experience! I was a customer for 7 years with hardly any claims. They charge me $265 a month for my two dogs. My golden had a major illness and the bills were over $1,000. Because they have such a strict deadline for turning in claims (which aren’t clearly defined, more like “fine print”) they offered me NOTHING. Due to my disappointment, I called everyone I had referred to them, every vet I’ve worked with in three different states, and will scream from the rooftops how horrible a company Embrace. Resolving my issue would have cost them maybe $500 at most. Two months of my premium. Silver lining…many better companies for lower rates out there. Thank you, Embrace. I would have never known how badly you were gouging me monthly had you not screwed me over.

Katherine Hemmer is absolutely wonderful!
I had the pleasure of speaking to Katherine about me never receiving a check for my first claim and getting an old check reprinted along with my new checks from a more recent claim. Katherine was kind enough to investigate the situation, whilst checking on me every minute or so, to make sure that I was still on the line and to remind me that it would take a couple more minutes (the wait wasn't even long, but she was very considerate and thoughtful of my time). Katherine was also extremely personable and very sweet! We both had a lovely conversation about our kitty cats. The customer service that I received from Katherine was probably the best experience I have ever had. Katherine is absolutely terrific and you should be glad to have her on your team! Thanks again for your patience, kindness and thoughtfulness, Katherine!
