Not the best experience.
I’m not happy with Embrace. While the user interface is simple and intuitive, it seems to me its staff / adjusters are there to find as many loopholes as possible in order to deny paying the claims. Or it that but asking for a full medical review after 4 mo seems unfair and unnecessary. Why not do it in the beginning of the policy period when I still have time to decide if I want to stay on the plan or not? Arbitrary exclusions and now I’m stuck with them. I have 3 dogs and recently switched over from nationwide because of the constant premium hikes, but after having embrace for 4 months and having them deny nearly every claim submitted, I wish I had never changed. Really disappointed.

They get 0/10
Poor customer service along with lack of complete explanations for claims process. They will dismiss as they see fit regardless of your pets need. Totally pointless policy thus taking money from clients with no benefits provided. They get 0/10 with the total allowance of 5% towards deductible after more than 1K out of pocket. Updated 10/22/24 Auto response shows continued lack of customer care/support.

Typical & Biased
I was happy with the quick turnaround with claims; usually reimbursed pretty quickly, but lately all Embrace is doing is finding every excuse to exclude conditions & deem them as pre-existing. Now I'm fighting every claim I submit. Ortho conditions were the only conditions mentioned during the probationary period. Now they're "nickel & diming" claims because you have preventative diagnostics done for your pet & because they know nothing about specific breeds. Extremely disappointed in Embrace!

I’ve had healthy Paws pet insurance…
I’ve had healthy Paws pet insurance since I first got my dog in 2022 and I don’t plan on leaving them. They have been wonderful. My 2 year old Maltese had a heart attack and I was devastated. She needed a pace maker to live. Her surgery cost was a total of $15,0000. I paid $3000 out of pocket and Healthy Paws paid the rest. They were quick with reimbursement and they were very understanding the entire way. I would totally recommend them. I’m grateful for them and you will be too.

Let me begin by warning you NOT TO…
Let me begin by warning you NOT TO WASTE YOUR MONEY. Trupanion is a complete sham and rip off. They spend more time finding a reason to deny your claim than they do answering any questions about their decision. Our puppy had a limp took him to the vet and paid $560 for xrays, radiology, and medicine. Trupanion took 2 weeks to finally tell us it was genetic and the dog was prone to limping issues so it wasn’t covered. Our dog is a pure breed Dogo Argentino and they are not prone to limping….WHAT? Then 2 weeks later while getting his next round of puppy shots they inform us he has an ear infection. $125 for the fee and meds no biggie right? Well DENIED as a hypersensitivity disorder (allergy) pre -existing. I couldn’t help but laugh. I was paying $285/mo so after a year I would have spent $3,000+ so I decided I’ll just pay out of the pocket for it all anyways since all Trupanion was is a $285/mo false sense of security in the event of a major vet bill. They’d just wiggle their way out of paying for it too.

I had many receipts for 3 pets which I sent to Fetch by email. I received notice of receipt, in review, approved and notice of payment in record time. The rep that I spoke with in the beginning was amazing and assisted me in completing my claim. I am very satisfied with Fetch Pet, thank you.
