A true life saver!
Wellness vet visits alone are expensive. Then add visits for an allergic skin reaction, and x-rays for a limp, and then an expensive knee surgery with rehab therapy, oh my!! And all kinds of things in between. And now it's $10,000 later in a 12 month timeframe. Luckily we're fully insured! One decision I never regret, year after year.

I have had Girlie Girl covered under Nationwide for 6 years. You folks have been through some crazy puppy mishaps with us and we truly appreciate the coverage and the great customer service. We also thank you for covering her allergy meds.

Helping our little boy
Our 9 year old Yorkie poodle Jake had recently had swelling in his rectal area. Upon taking him to a vet hospital, we were told Jake presented as having anal sac adenocarcinoma. These were devastating words to hear about a dear member of our family. The first round of testing cost over $1200. It was then determined he needed surgery. That cost was up $3,400. Had we not had Trupanion insurance, we would not have been able to afford these vet costs. But bc we do, our sweet little dog Jake was able to have the procedure to remove the affected anal sac and the surgeon is pretty confident it is not cancer. But we wait 1 week for the pathology to come back for definitive diagnosis as to whether or not he has cancer. Jake is recovering from the rectal area surgery which has been challenging but he's doing very well. I could not imagine having to say no to helping our little boy. Because of your services, Jake can get better and if he does have cancer, I can afford to treat it if we choose to. Trupanion took away the financial stress so we are able to focus on caring for Jake and not stressing out over how we would afford to pay all these vet bills. It is worth every penny bc since we have Trupanion by our side, we will never have to say " I can't afford to help my dog. " Thanks Trupanion for making the claim process easy and a very stress free. God bless you all for helping us take care of faithful, innocent and precious little dog.
