Good experience
Filed my first claim with Embrace. Small claim, but I was pleased with how easy it was and how quickly the claim was reviewed and approved. Have never worked with a pet insurance company like this - terrific!

highly recommend Embrace
We have been with Embrace for several years now and highly recommend them. Their payments have been quick and having a Cavalier that can develop possibly an inherited illness we wanted a company that would cover it if ever needed. Many companies in small print exclude inherited diseases for specific breeds. The staff are wonderful to communicate with and they have been great.

Decent coverage
I've had a satisfactory experience with the ASPCA insurance coverage. The turnaround time for reimbursement takes about 3 weeks. It's come in handy in a couple of emergency situations for both of my cats. The reason I'm not giving the insurance a higher score is due to the pre-existing conditions clause. If my pets were to be diagnosed with an illness when my policy is up for renewal, it would be considered a pre-existing condition and there would be no further coverage for that condition. This disappoints me since I've been a customer for a couple of years and I'd feel more confident in the coverage if the pre-existing clause weren't in effect.

Superior Service !
As a newcomer to pet insurance I am delighted that I chose Embrace. The most surprising attribute is the degree of personal contact they have maintained with me. In this day of impersonal, faceless, nameless organizations constantly finding ways to avoid actual contact i.e. communication with the customer,Embrace is unique for it's availability. We adopted our dog, a mixed breed, about 2 years ago. She is now about 3. We were surprised & concerned when we discovered she was having an eye problem which was causing infections. We are learning it is unusual for her breed mix but we have been pleased that our pet insurance has helped to relieve some of the burden of caring for this young dog since it appears to be a problem that we will be able to manage. Thank you for prompt service and feedback.

The coverage provided by Pets Best Insurance is awesome and my pooch has been insured through them for a few years now! In addition to the coverage which provides for a sense of security knowing that I don't have to hesitate to take my pooch to the veterinarian whether for a routine checkup or if an emergency would arise, I also absolutely love the peeps at Pets Best Insurance. Customer service has been superb; always helpful and explanatory when I have questions. I even recently received a phone call in follow up to a question I had after submitted a claim. This company truly deserves high praise - - - I believe that a company is only as good as the people who work within it! Thank you Pets Best!~

Fast and fair
We used Trupanion to insure our Frenchie/Boston mix puppy. She is a very active and curious dog who also has a sensitive digestive system so we thought we better insure her to be on the safe side. The policy costs about 40$ a month but it pays 90% of claims (not including exam fees). We had to make several claims just a few months after enrolling her. She had a frightening reaction to a new topical flea and tick treatment and we spent Memorial weekend in the animal hospital. We mailed in the paperwork and Trupanion immediately emailed notification of receiving it. They also emailed the status of each claim a few days after that. We got our checks in the mail within 3 weeks. Trupanion is the first pet insurance we have ever used so we don't have a good means of objective comparison but for now, the insurance has already paid for itself! It is a relief to know that we can our dog to the vet without worrying about money.

Yikes. Rate hikes.
Wow these guys suck. 66% rate hike after the first year. So much for the few percent they told me.
