Healthy Paws is Amazing

Compassionate, Speedy, Thorough. Can't say enough good things about this company. It's such a worry off of our minds to have this pet insurance and is worth every penny.

Outstanding Service

This has been one of our best investments as our cocker spaniel Mollie contracted IMHA and her health needs have exceeded $4,000. Without your help we would have lost a member of our family.

Healthy Paws is fabulous!

I had scheduled a dental cleaning for my 7 year old yellow lab, Chamois. When they did the blood work prior to anesthesia, a serious kidney issue was found. Chamois went through two days of IV fluids, many tests and was put on meds and a prescription diet once the issue was pinpointed. She was, and still is, a mystery case for our vet and the clinic as she presented no symptoms of an illness and still exhibits nothing that a doctor would normally use to identify an illness. I printed out several personalized claim forms and had the clinic keep them in our file. As an appointment was completed they would fax the form to Healthy Paws and the claim was quickly processed. We had one appointment at 9:00 on a Thursday, the claim was processed by 2:00 that afternoon, and my check was in the mail on Monday. That's awesome! Everything I hoped would be covered was, payment was fast and the customer service couldn't be better. I'd researched several companies and decided on Healthy Paws because it's the only one I found with no caps or limitations on coverage. I'm so glad I chose them! They even follow up with concerns and hugs for Chamois, which is a personal touch that is much appreciated.

Read the fine print

One of the "fine print" items with this insurance is that each year's renewal is considered a completely new policy. Therefore, no matter how long you have had your pet insured with them, any illness they have at renewal is considered a pre-existing condition and is not covered. My cat developed IBS in the 11th month of the 4th year I had him insured with ASPCA. Therefore, they covered his vet visit and medications for the first month of his illness and never paid another penny after that. I found it fairly worthless for that reason and would not buy it again and would not recommend it.
