True to their word
I read sterling reviews about Healthy Paws and insured my newly adopted cat. She was in perfect health, highly energetic with a voracious appetite. After a month she developed gastrointestinal problems probably from something she ate. I thought 'Hmmmmm, only a month out, are they going to cover this?' They did. Consider this another sterling recommendation. 10+. At least.

Completely Satisfied 110%
Petsbest works fast to pay claims, my reimbursement was direct deposited 9 days later for the initial claim, and the follow up claim took 2 days! The customer service is exceptionally helpful and friendly and I couldnt have asked for a better company to insure my big babies.

So far so good
I've had ASPCA pet insurance for about 6 months now. I've taken my French Bulldog for 2 separate issues. An eye infection and wart that had grown on her back leg. Both issues were re-imbursed as promised. Claims were processed within a reasonable time frame. It was very nice to be able to view the status of these online. also nice was that my vet filed the claim and any issues were handled between my vet and ASPCA. Didnt have to put any of my time on the phone etc.

Truly excellent
Minimal paperwork, excellent customer service, fast payment, no hassels. Human medical insurance should be this good.

Feed Back on Insurance Payment
My boxer was ill and in the hospital overnight. There were many tests done to help determine the cause of her illness / high fever. The hospital completed the appropriate forms and submitted them to Trupanion. Trupanion kept me updated on the status of the claim and once they received answers to all of their questions, they paid the claim promptly. I was very pleased with this experience.

EXPEDIENT, CARING, AND DETAILED
Ya know, I GOTTA tell ya; I am SO impressed and taken aback, positively, at the experience "I" have received from HEALTHY PAWS PET INSURANCE. I had heard nothing but horror stories from friends and associates that I reached out to concerning pet insurance. I am here to tell you, that from the very FIRST individual I spoke with, Mona, I felt a "calm and reassurance" from ALL the wonderful people at Healthy Paws that has since overwhelmingly overturned my initial fears! I mean, after THE LAST EMAIL OF 5 THAT I RECEIVED, I am floored to say the least. I can't remember EVER being on the end of customer service and overall concern, like I have from the representatives at Healthy Paws. The follow up emails containing the status of the processing of my claim was unprecedented to say the least. An email to say that they were in receipt of the claim. Another email to say that they needed more info to complete the claim. Another email stating that they got that info. An email to say it was being processed. Another to say it HAD been processed an an itemization of the transaction and expected pay out was expedient. 3 days later, all within a week of my first correspondence, and I had a check! Now this email to check up on Bailey has just floored my emotions and satisfaction with your company. To answer your question, Bailey is doing fine and is 100% back to form. I will refer any and everyone I can to Healthy Paws.

Amazing!
When was the last time you heard someone describe an insurance company as Amazing!?! Well...in this case its true. I can't say enough good things about HealthyPaws Insurance. They have been a pleasure to deal with. HPI processed our claim quickly (in less than 14 days), gave us status updates, handled our calls/questions promptly and icing on the cake...everyone we spoke with showed us compassion and went out of there way to make a difficult situation better. They covered a Total Hip Replacement! I can't thank & recommend them enough. I only wish my own health insurance was as easy to work with.

Too Difficult to Get Coverage
I signed up for Embrace because of it's rankings and price. First had to do the ortho waiver which both of my pets passed with a clean bill of health. Then 3 weeks later, they asked us to contact our vet to have them fax the medical records. My complaint is, why didn't they have us do this when we did the ortho waiver(?) My vets complaint, understandably so, is why should he tie up his office staff even more faxing in the records when we were first there? Thus, he refused since he already gave the dogs a clean bill of health. Also, I saw in the fine print that after you send in the records, they will only be reviewed when a claim is filed UNLESS you request them to be reviewed earlier. This is definently a loophole for them to deny claims, and is a very ticky-tacky way to do business. Needless to say, I cancelled and went with another company.
