Our claim for a skin biopsy was turned down. I was told it was a pre-existing condition which is was not. My vet's assistant was the one who contacted Embrace and after a few discussions and proper documentation from the vet, the decision was reversed and my claim was covered. I am glad to know that there are people willing to listen and understand different circumstances where our pets are concerned. I received my check a few days after I received an e-mail stating that they were paying my claim.

Happy with Embrace

I've used the Wellness Plan for both of my Border Collies and have gotten 100% reimbursement for all of my claims submitted. The payment is quick too. I have had nothing but positive experiences so far with Embrace, great customer service. There is always a "live" person to talk to when you call with a question and they always know the answer. Embrace counselors helped me with setting up coverage as well as setting up auto pay and direct deposit to receive reimbursement for clailms. I called in because I had questions on submitting my first claim. I was delighted by both Jane and Megan who were both extremely helpful in the process.

Quick Turnaround

We knew up front that our dog Jasmine's surgery had exceeded the plan maximum but everything we could get back towards the expense helped. The total cost to us was over 5k and the plan maximum was 1500. In general we always exceed what the plan considers "reasonable costs" which is usually disappointing but we expect it. I was pleasantly surprised at how easily and quickly our claim was processed. I was expecting 4-6 weeks but the majority of items were processed within 2 weeks. The only delayed item was due to the surgery center's delay in responding to ASPCA. Everything was very easy we submitted the claim and all paperwork online and within a few days got an email letting us know everything had been processed then a few days later we received our reimbursement. We even got a follow up call from the ASPCA to see how Jasmine was doing and to see if we were satisfied with the claim process.
