Disappointment in Wellness additional insurance not covering
I researched several pet insurance companies and decided to purchase Fetch after 2 conversations with a representative who told me to add the wellness insurance in order to cover upcoming procedures dental & spay for our female Dachshund. I questioned the person about any time elements prior to using insurance and also confirmed several times that the dental & spay surgery would both be covered. My claim came back shortly with only coverage for the dental cleaning and the spay surgery denied. I called the company twice and got a robo that hung up stating my phone number showed claim closed. After calling a different number I talked to 2 other people who now say I have to talk with someone else next week. All calls are recorded and I took detailed notes of the conversations. Charging $73 per month for pet insurance & marketing the coverage as a sales pitch impacts decisions pet owners make.
