So Glad to Have Pets Best
Twelve years ago, when they were fun and adorable kittens I began investing yearly in Pet’s Best high-deductible health insurance plan for my terrible twosome. The cats were healthy during their first ten years and between the two cats I only had to make a few claims until 2020 when Zoe developed diabetes. Now Zoe meets her deductible every year and Pets Best has reimbursed us consistently for her many tests, insulin and emergency vet visits. Yesterday she experienced sudden blindness. Our vet referred her to a kitty opthomologist and I am arranging her first appointment. I’m sure the visit will be costly and yes, she is just a cat. But, she is a cat with health insurance!

Easy process
The enrollment was seamless that's the good part. I think it would have been nice to have a personal touch as a final step that walks you through the coverage though.

This is my first experience with pet insurance though I had a show kennel for decades.
This is my first experience with pet insurance, though I had a show kennel for decades. I decided to invest in it this time, and my puppy got cruciate ligament tears in both knees--may need surgery. Trupanion has been right there for us despite an initial misdiagnosis, a transfer of the dog to my breeder's vet (we are new here and do not know the veterinary landscape well), the new diagnosis, and the (hopefully) pre-op treatments. I couldnât be more pleased.

Say yes to pet insurance, it is worth it
Trupanion made it possible for our fur baby to be with us 15 months longer than expected after a near death experience. Without it we wouldnât have been able to afford the medical costs, we are so thankful for them and so happy that we chose to get pet insurance when he was just 3 months old. Highly recommend Trupanion!!

Love Trupanion butâ¦â¦..
Took too long to process and had to ask a supervisor to intervene. I understand you were making some changes to your system but that should be your problem, not mine! Claims use to be paid much quicker. Given these are not new diagnoses they should go through flawlessly.
