SO worth the cost!
Love how easy it is just to submit my claim right from my phone! I’m always refunded for the visit within 2 weeks at the latest and it’s direct deposited right into my account! What’s also a peace of mind for a pet owner is that there wouldn’t be any hesitation to get my dog the best care, preventative or not routine, knowing that her insurance will be so helpful! Would highly recommend!

I love that treatment decisions can focus on what's best for my dog, not how much it costs
I've got one of those dogs who has had multiple complex medical conditions requiring lots of testing and treatments through his whole life. He is 12 now and still after paying his trupanion premium every month for the past 11 years we have still gotten so much value from it - not just financially but also knowing that whatever comes our way we can handle it and focus on keeping him happy and healthy without worrying about how much it will cost. Customizable Plans at Competitive Cost
I really liked the easy and customizable enrollment process. Did a lot of research comparing plans, coverage and companies and this one just really seemed to be the best fit for us. Haven’t used it yet, so hopefully their service is as expected.

What they don't tell you!
My dog is 3 years old. My Trupanion Insurance was $81.77 the 1st yr. In 5/2019 it jumped up to $100.59 and 5/2020 it was $128.99. That is over 50% more than I was originally paying in 1 yr. Be careful.

Was a blessing!
I got insurance for my puppy; unfortunately one night he was running and ran in screaming. Thank goodness for healthy paws, they covered the ER visit and his shoulder surgery, his hospitalization; made my 6000 bill a lot more easier to be like yes so that I can provide the best care I can for my puppy. And they sent an email about a week after asking how my puppy was doing.

JUST GET THE INSURANCE
My vet recommend I get insurance for my puppy, just in case because you never know what happens. It was so amazing to know I have it when my puppy unfortunately needed shoulder surgery. Without healthypaws I didn't think I could afford a 6000 surgery, but it was so easy to say yes. They had the claims processed within 10 days and were sweet enough to check in to see how much puppy was doing.
