Disappointed
The claim took way to long and ever time I submit something they say it's a preexisting condition. My dog is almost 10 so I'm not to cancel my insurance now but I recommend researching other companies. Once Trupanion went public it was all down hill.

Extremely happy with my care!
The Trupanion team was super responsive to the Blue Pearl team in regards to our bill for Riggins care (which was an expensive one) and I only had to pay a minimal amount. I will remain an advocate for Trupanion to anyone getting a new pet!

The veterinarian invoices are not reviewed carefully and each time a different deductible category is applied.
The veterinarian invoices are not reviewed carefully and each time a different deductible category is applied. In case of unclear invoice, my vet is not contacted. I have then to ask for the corrections and it's taking at least a couple of hours. I have to contact my vet by myself and ask him to sign a paper to begin the appeal process. With the COVID crisis, it is extremely difficult to reach to your veterinarian to sign a paper. My cat needs further exams for his condition, but I don't feel that Trupanion is supporting me. I am right now afraid to take my cat to the vet.
