There when needed
Thank you trupanion for your service. I've been with you all for about 4 years, and any time my four legged lady is in need. Your services were there to support. I truly love my rescue and if she was human, she would say the same. Thank you so much.

Claim process took long, but otherwise OK
My cat was having trouble breathing last year. Took her to the vet and they diagnosed her with congestive heart failure. Since I have insurance, I decided to give her a chance and let the vet do an emergency procedure. That and the hospitalization at the heart specialist was over $3,000 total. We submitted the claims right away, but it took PetsBest over a month to process it. During that month I had to bring my cat back in for more follow-ups and procedures. Not having an approved first claim did make me feel uneasy about swiping my credit card for the visits. That being said, after the first claim went through, all subsequent claims were approved within a week. The amount they reimbursed me was how much I was expecting as well.

So grateful for Healthy Paws
I am sooo grateful that I got Healthy Paw insurance for my Lamont as a puppy. It’s been a literal lifesaver, and HP has been a big part of that. I can’t imagine the difficult choices families must make when a pet gets ill or injured. The website for claims is quite simple and the client service folks really care about your pet. I refer everyone that gets a pet to Healthy Paws!

Not responsive
I've been working with Healthy Paws since August on a simple skin condition claim. They required 3 years of back records that my vet could not fax. They had to be mailed, so they closed my claim. They have now received the paper records, but I have contacted them 2 times to reopen the claim, but I can't get a response from the Appeals or Help email address. My first claim with them was excellent, but this recent experience has been a huge disappointment.

Very disappointed in the long run :(
When I initi8ally started with Pet's Best back in 2014 with my first dog, they were wonderful. 2nd dog, not so wonderful :( Got to the point, at 6 years old,, they wanted nearly $2000 for $5000 in coverage. With my pups at 1 year old the price was comparable to my former 5 year old. We've since canceled all policies and went with a new insurer in 2020.

Excellent Service
I've been a client of ASPCA pet insurance for 4 years now and unfortunately had to file claims for the first time for not just one but two of my dogs. The process to file your claim online was very easy and when I did have questions the customer service staff was great. You could tell by the way they treated you and spoke they truly did care for your animal.
