Mazie's Torn ACL
We've had Scottish Terriers for 40 years. We've had so many health issues and never purchased insurance. A friend told me about Healthy Paws and we decided we'd purchase it and hopefully by paying for it, our babies would never get sick. We've made it 4 years with no illnesses but one of our girls had an ACL injury requiring surgery. Over $5000 later, Healthy Paws paid at 80% and it helped ease the financial burden. The four years of pet insurance premiums paid for this one surgery. We are believers and will never go without pet insurance again. Healthy Paws process of submitting claims is simple and their follow through is quick. They're excellent and I highly recommend them.

12 week old puppy mauled by big dog
My 12 week puppy was mauled by a big dog and nearly died. It was touch and go for the first several days. I was beside myself for the first 3 days waiting to see if he was going to survive. Trupanion took care of everything. I didn’t have to talk to them once, the vet and Trupanion took care of everything. I was so grateful because I was in a state of shock and talking through logistics and insurance was the last thing I wanted to do. I was just focused on praying for my puppy. Trupanion has been incredible. My puppy, Yarrow, has long term imjuries from the attack. He’s already had surgery and two CT scans. He’ll need another CT and another surgery when he’s done growing, I am so grateful I’ve had Trupanion by my side through this. I owe Yarrow’s life to them as his injuries were so extensive I never would’ve been able to afford his card. Thank you Trupanion!!!
