Easy to sign up
At this point, I am just signed up, so can't speak to what happens when you put a claim in, but the sign in process was easy and the payment/coverage options were laid out clearly.

Based on our experience and dealings with Trupanion since 2004. Courteous and prompt service with the phone representatives to settling requests it all seems to be going seamless with a 24hr phone service. The representatives Love pets, are friendly & they refer calls in a timely manner.

Dependable and reliable service!
Claim was assessed and process quickly for pre-existing condition. So great to have it go through while paying at vet instead of waiting for refund. But responses if efficient either way!

Trupanion is a scam
The day we got our pet, he got carsick, vomiting on the drive home. We casually mentioned this to the vet; it somehow made its way into our pet’s health record. Later, our pet eventually became seriously ill, with vomiting, after ingesting a toxin; however, Trupanion stated that vomiting was a “pre-existing condition” and wouldn’t cover it. They clung to this absurd assertion even after our vet wrote a letter to them explaining that vomiting is a symptom, not a condition. Trupanion is terrible. Go elsewhere.

I cannot say enough positive things…
I cannot say enough positive things about Healthy Paws. Two of my dogs have been taken to emergency vets over the years for health issues and the quick way that the reimbursements are paid, and the ease in which to send in claims etc. is impressive. I was able to comfortably make decisions in which I would have to have thousands of dollars knowing that I have trusted this company over the years.

Finally, an insurer who does exactly what they say they will do!
I cannot say enough positive comments about this company. They have insured my dogs for a few years and have been incredible to work with. I never had to think twice when my dog recently had an emergency event. I checked the "what is covered" before agreeing to treatment, (it was over 10,000) and trusted that what they said was covered was accurate. It was and there couldn't have been an easier process. Wish human medical insurance worked this well.

Excellent Company to do business with
I cannot say enough about Healthy Paws. To begin with Junior had some lymph nodes removed then he had to have TPLO surgery they covered both with no questions. He later had an accident where he did nerve, muscle and disc damage, he just had an MRI and spinal tap to see what is causing his muscles to collapse. Healthy Paws has paid for all expenses so I can give Junior the best possible care in his recovery. I recommend them to everyone that gets a new puppy, I hoped I would never need them but I’m happy now that I had coverage for the thousands of dollars.
