Very easy to file claims
Very easy to file claims. Once I received the invoices from my vet, I was able to log in and file. The one thing that I didn't realize was I only had 270 days to file, I unfortunately thought I had the calendar year to file. I lost out on all of the preventive services because they were at the start of 2025. This won't happen again.

I was denied coverage for a qualified…
I was denied coverage for a qualified expense that I incurred this benefit year. MetPet said that the submission would be untimely as it fell outside of their plan time frame. It was an honest error due to my vet bill first listing a service charge that is not covered followed by two that are covered, a wellness check and and an Rx medication. I don’t understand why MetPet “timed me out” since the service occurred during the current plan year. This has soured me to an otherwise good experience with MetPet.
